- I build a no water change planted aquarium vase (planted aquajar). Planted vase has no filter, no co2 and no ferts. All the plants are trimmings from my aquariums. The volume of this vase is not enough to support adult fish living inside of it. It can however be utilized as a shrimp aquarium or a grow out aquarium for small species like celestial pearl danio or microdevario kubotai. Adult fish should never be added to aquarium as small as this.

Thank you for the awesome IKEA idea , the only thing better than a crystal clear glass containing a relaxing piece of living art , is the all the other containers that have been so rewarding and challenging to get the aquascape in place and looking now the clarity is honestly the best I've ever had. Must be the plants and mini Ramshorns that I can thank.!!!
Thanks a lot for your kind words. Just wanted to show that everyone can do somethings simple and cheap at the same time. Cheers
Snails or some 5 or 10 shrimp would go great in this
There were a lot of mini ramshorn snails in this vase aquarium.
I have similar vase... Thank you for inspiration!!😊
Thanks for watching.
Simply beautiful!
Thanks.
Awesome!
Thanks.
incredible
Thanks.
love it
Thanks.
This is nice and it should be easy to replicate for us mere mortals. At least if we live within reasonable distance of an IKEA. I do like that you put the black film on half of it. I really like that look and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else do it on a vase. Will you add shrimp or anything? Also I appreciate your warning at the end not to use fish as just decoration.
I think this is a really simple and cheap solution for everyone. Probably I will add just a few male only Neocaridina shrimps (that way they can't multiply). It's a really small volume so it should be OK for a couple of shrimps only.
Awesome!! Will you put any shrimps in it?
Probably I will add just a few Neocaridina shrimps. Thanks for watching.
What kind of soil is that, that you use in your aquarium? Its' really lovely
Tropica soil.
May I know what device you used to create this video?
I use a Sony A6400 camera in combination with Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens.
