The PF unified online portal was launched in 2014, to help PF members avail online services for their PF withdrawal, UAN generate, passbook download, etc. But for this to happen, each PF member needs a UAN for his account. Previously, PF accounts of members who had left PF before 2014, did not have the UAN generate option. But now, this is possible.
If you want to know how to generate uan number for old pf account/old pf number, then this video is just for you. Millions of people in India have an old pf number that is not linked to UAN. As a result, they can't withdraw their EPF balance, or check their passbooks.
This video will show you the new feature made available by the epfo india for the employers' portal that let's the employer generate UAN for OLD pf number (older than 2014).
Now you can easily add your old EPF account to a UAN number, get your password and easily access your funds.

Thanks for generating uan no. For old pf acct holders it is very easy to understand and create new uan number because my HR doesn't know about my old pf account uan activate, now i sent the vedio link to him. Now I'm going to withdraw my pf amount since 2001...thanks sir

I have the same issue. The company got merged with another company and the old company's HR has also moved to another organisation. Present employer cannot do much as per the video, as it requires Establishment details

I currently have two pf accounts one has a UAN which is after 2014 and before 2014 the previous employer I only have the pf number but no UAN. I want to withdraw my pension amount, i have two service first one first company 7 years service than 4 months unemployment than 9 months service in second company. When i was applying for pension withdrawal it was showing "short cessation service" and second company name, when amount settled it was of only the second company pension amount. I wanted to withdraw first company pension but its nowhere showing. I have raised grievance multiple time but no action taken.

You have to check with your corporate office only, If they have your PF details mean you can.

sir, I have served 18 years with an organisation from 1989 to 2007 . I resign from that organisation and withdraw my total PF. At that time they informed me that you can claim your PF pension after 58years of age. After that I got a job and the organisation create a new pf number which have a UAN. Now I have applied to the PF issue me a service certificate so that I will get some pension benefit. But they are advising me to open a new UAN number with previous PF number. But I could not create two UAN as it's not supported by PF norm. What shall I do.
