This does my answer my question regarding the story of the babaylan now my new question is that do they help the world in our retual beliefs and answers our question of how and why we are such people who walk this earth.

They say babaylans were either women or lgbt. That's where a certain group of LGBT "UP-Babaylan" got its name.

Look at the history of the the church , in the catholic religion they have a lot of criminal popes . Pope Alexander VI , Pope John X11 , Pope Steven and many others were worse than the mafia. Then you have the invention of the levels of hell by Dante in the 12 And 1300 a depressed poet whose writings were adopted by Pope Bonaface … which now Christians believe to be real fires of hell … study please … religion is like opioids once hooked it hard to be objective.
