Government releases Kshs. 654 million to pay farmers

Sugarcane farmers are demanding for the disclosure of financial statements from Sugar millers to ensure transparency in the disbursement of farmers’ arrears. This demand follows the announcement by Agriculture PS Kipronoh Ronoh, that the government has released 654 million shillings, out of which 354 million will settle farmers' arrears and 300 million will go towards paying employees of state-owned mills.

Ministry of Agriculture is the most successful ministry in Kenya Kwanza administration, but we don't feel that as Kenyans, because Linturi ruined the image of this ministry completely.. Today all food prices have reduced by 60% but people are still complaining about the CS.. If a competent person comes, Agriculture will be the pride of Kenya
