I like how the branches spread out in all directions creating that natural 3D look. I'm looking forward to see it again once the canopy starts filling up. Good job!

Thank you. Yes that is what I was going for. Branches growing into empty spaces to simulate natural growth. I am always torn between the classical styles of Japan (which are beautiful but rigid) and the more natural approach. Both are appealing to me

@@Bonsaifly I'm inclined to like the naturalistic style more but each style is beautiful in it's own way.
I would like to se a photo of this tree from above looking down. Maybe you could post one on Instagram.

@@OddBonsai I kind of go whichever way, in my very unprofessional opinion, suits the tree best. I definitely prefer the more strict styling on conifers though.
      That’s a good idea.
This tree was a present, so it’s currently not with me but I definitely plan to feature it in the future once it progresses. Then I’ll take an eagles eye photo for you :)

That's made a heck of a difference to the tree!
It looks really nice after your pruning and wiring. It should really take off now it's in well drained potting mix. Very nice indeed!

Thank you :) well I already have an eBay shop, if you want to check that out:
      ebay.de/usr/botanifly
I sometimes sell some trees and plants there, it’s not a professional shop (yet). This particular tree isn’t for sale - it was a present to someone :)
