Should we switch it up more often with UFC , Boxing, or WWE episodes?🤔
For sure, love the variety
111% GWN should be doing more combat sports, there’s so many UFC fights that could be revisited
Yes
Hell yeah! Great pod and the variety is dope!
I have thoroughly enjoyed them all, I could care less which sport they competed in; game is game
"The irish fans were drunk and the muslims were sober" i don't know why this made me laugh 😂😂😂
This is why the Irish guys got their ass kicked and slapped.
😂 shit was funny
I’m Irish and I fkn laughed 🤣
'Mozlims'
Cause it's true! Thats why they fell when they fought 😂
the intro felt like a LEGIT UFC promo. editor went crazy 🔥
🙌🙌🙌
Naw, UFC and actual fans do it way better lol
@@Onlybadtakes2589name checks out
@@gameswithnamespodhow fkn CRAZY is it that an American ❄️ like Dana White would say Putin’s name w/ reverence, and admit that Khabib was given a $20m palace from that kleptocratic p*$$y?!?? Fitting though since DW and the UFC are a kleptocracy themselves.
Alexei Navalny has bigger rocks than any of these ❄️ vermin in the UFC ever will.
🤮🤮🤮
#longlivenavalny
that was dope
Dana asking Julian how he felt about retiring was a really good part of this podcast.
Great question and answer. Always love successful yet humble athletes talk about retirement
What minute ?

Edelman yelling "no bullying!" at Incognito 🤣🤣🤣
LMAO IT TOOK ME A SEC 😂😂😂😂
Can you imagine being that guy..in the NFL claiming your getting bullied.
@@shogunjobuyeah it was so pathetic. Media would fall apart if they had a f’n clue of what sports locker rooms were actually like and how athletes actually talk. They sure aren’t PC.
Richie had a great comeback in Buffalo! He was a fan favorite and made the probowl 3 years straight!
Dana hit it on the head, what an amazing time to be a Patriot fan and raising a family. So many Sunday memories we have at my house with everyone coming over. I probably have bought over 75 Patriots jerseys over the years due to family members hopping on the train. I would pass out jerseys to friends and family like they were skittles. Sports is low on the list of priorities but when you can have such a dynasty like that spending it with family it’s like a high you cannot get anywhere else due to how long and enjoyable it was.
That sure was a ride and us Pats fans are BLESSED to experience it!!!!
Fuck the patriots enjoy 30 years of shit
Lived in N.E. 23 yrs & I enjoyed my time there fondly. Edelman was my boy & love Dana too.
Addressing Dana walking out of another podcast and cutting to your intro is straight up 🐐
Jules yelling “no bullying” to incognito 😂
Bro I played it back like 10x I was dying 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
40 episodes in and the guests have been nothing but illustrious and full of juicy content this is probably the greatest start to a podcast career ever
Man I remember watching a football training video in the early 2010s and he was just in the background doing some of the exercises. He had long hair. Didn’t think twice about no name Julian Edelman running up and down the hill in back.
Little did I know he would be Super Bowl mvp with three rings and hosting his own wildly entertaining podcast interviewing big names.
I’m so damn happy for him!
Well said. Illustrious indeed 🤜🤛
@@enshk79real as a 49ers fan but a fan of old school scrappy white WRs who hit block and catch yessir
Like him or hate him, Dana White is always a great interview. Plus the fact that he asks questions back, and seems to genuinely enjoy talking to people. Met him in OKC airport years ago, and he was super nice to me at least. Granted I was in uniform at the time flying home for leave.
Edelman is as loyal as it comes. Love that he wears his Patriots hat still. Dana White is a great interview.
The Patriots treated him like they should’ve treated Brady
@@MrMitchbow i still can’t believe they let Brady walk.
Foxboro Forever 🙌
@@MustangMike012there’s way more to that story we may never know the truth
I love the fact he snubbed Howie and all about Jules.🤙
He’s not going to date you bro, go outside lol
Clearly much older
This was probably before the Howie one
@@darienmarcus100gayyy
@@darienmarcus100 If you're a female theres a good chance dana will fuck ya.
Such a great Podcast. I really enjoyed Julian opening up about his last season and the mental grind of expectation. I appreciate the authenticity.
Man… Jules talking about his last season really hit hard. One of my favorite players of all time.
Great Episode bud. I was like yes! finally we neeeded a deep dive into ufc 229 khabib vs mcgregor. This superbout changed and altered the mma universel landscape.
"I'm done doing podcasts" - Dana White
my irst thought also haha
although im gonna assume this was taped BEFORE Dana said that? Lots of guys hold off on releasing their pods, its not sent out same day its shot so idk when this one was actually filmed
I bet he didn’t want to fully cancel on howie and did that to get attention/attend to trying to save that 300 main event 🤷🏾♂️
@@daking414wow you’ve been thinking about that a lot.
@@Haterkilla4717I don't think it took much to come up with that comment
Done doing podcasts with fckn weirdos and losers.
Dana talks UFC all the time, my favorite parts of this podcast was when they were talking Pats, Puka, and other off the head topics. Great video, I don’t watch these type of videos much but when either JE or DW puts a hour on tape I’ll tune in.
As an Irishman we we’re definitely at a disadvantage in the UFC 229 wars coz of how drunk everyone was. Also most are just pub brawlers while all the khabib fans were like a special forces unit out there . FIGHTIN IRISH ☘️ 🇮🇪
And now We Muslims respect Irish people. Because the Irish people stood up against the Genocide of the Palestinian.
@@sgx8126cringe 🤢
@@michaelrb9837 Get a job.
@@sgx8126only the real Irish I respect, but not the drunk clowns
Can't belive Dana didn't take
Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar
For one of his top 3 fights. That fight saved the Company.
I made a comment about why this fight was the one they talked about cause it was one sided beside the build up, griffin vs.Bonnar made me love the UFC even though I watched that tuf years after it happened, still that fight is what gave UFC its juice back! Those early tuf fights and, nick Diaz v lawler, Randy v chuck, porier v Holloway or gathje so many better fights to talk about
Only mentioned the porier fights cause he's my favorite fight little biased but still felt where better then the Connor khabib fight
@@jamespeters771That fight very literally saved the company, and made one of their biggest money makers ‘TUF’ legitimate all at the same time
It's clear, a great fight (or fighter) to Dana is the biggest moneymakers. To include McGregor and Rousey in the greatest fights/fighter discussion is silly. They led to big promotions, but both are below average belt holders.
@@edmitch1010 right, this makes sense too, we're looking at this through a strictly Fan based view. One has to kinda look through the eyes of a company CEO to see his prospective on this. Plus last minute question top of head answers. Arnt always the closest to what the best are usually in hindsite
Hahah the intro alone. I gave it a like just cause of that
This was not an interview, it was a conversation
so a podcast? lol
@rowys91 ahhhaaaahaaa ( fist Bump ) . !
Try and kiss a little more 🍑 next time bud
'The Irish were drunk and the muslims were sober'.....I live in northern Thailand these days and the amount of dudes I have met from the MIddle East who are Muslims and regularly go out for a night on the piss, or to eat some grilled pork, is many and varied.
I am also an Australian Army vet who was involved in Op Slipper in 2002/2003 in Afghanistan for 2 tours and at that time we did our R&R in Bahrain. Bahrain was the Vegas of the Middle East and the Muslims visiting there that I saw, shall we say, lived life to the fullest....stereotypes are bullshit...
no its the rare fringe so-called muslims who drink. its a major sin/taboo to drink. Huge no no.
anyone who does it is shunned by the community.
They real quiet on this one eh bah-pee saygee ayyy daw
Hell yeah great podcast concept! Glad I found this
Brilliantly done!!!!!!!! Great content
W INTRO UFC LEVEL PROMO GIVE THE EDITOR A RAISE
We need more footage of what you’re talking about please 🙏🏻
Dude what a dope concept of a podcast. Exactly what I was thinking about if someone could pull it off
I watch journalists and Dana and the energy in those interviews are very different to this. You can tell they are both equally excited for the interview. Much better than watching journalists ask shit questions. This was awesome Jules.
Bro he didn’t even know venom is the new fight gear .. rebook been done, he knows zero about mma
@@Chris-rf8mt what does that do with it being a good interview? You're what Jon Anik would call a Toxic Fan. Go spread your hate somewhere else
@@Chris-rf8mt Brand new account eh? Fking troll
Soft ball questions
Yeah because if they ask a question more serious than “what’s your favorite color” Dana gets pissy and pulls their press credentials
Love the Herb Dean question. He’s been the best in the business for years
That is true, but he sucked on this night. He let Connor get away with like 10 fouls with no warnings
I’m sick of seeing this opinion. Herb Dean has been awful for years. Herzog probably makes the least mistakes and makes sure the fighters are active.
@@mdavis1992 wtf have you been watching . You must like Mario Yamasaki
@@tiemann55 just look up Herb Dean worst ref moments on CZcams and you’ll find entire ten minute compilations of his bullshit.
No nonsense Keith is the goat
“crossovers”are always a go to if you wanna capture multi sport audiences 🎉 no pun intended
First time watching this podcast, really enjoyed it great job
Amazing content
Love Dana! The man. A legit BADMOFO.
Dana is a garbage human but ok.
The quality on this video is crispy all other podcasts ain’t this clear
This is one of the BEST Dana White interviews, you guys did not repeat same shit and got new thing out of him...
Best Collab
The Name:
The Notorious Defeat
That's actually sick
i like the flow of it, because just a day or two days ago i said to a podcast producer about the amount of pods that have way too much banter after the question is asked to a guest.. edelman almost didn't follow up much after each question and thats a huge thing. so bravo, the editing, the questions, flow, open n close were nice !!!!!!
Love that the co-host asks sensible questions, provides data-backed inputs.
I know this video is only 1hour old but how the hell does it not have more views?
One of the best Dana interviews I've heard for a long time, subscribed 👍🏼
The editing in the beginning is sick.
Richie incognito!!!!!
No bullying 😂😂😂
Games with names isn’t a podcast. It’s a sports media revolution.
Relax lol
relax its not the pat mcafee show its a good podcast lol
I think this will be bigger than new heights next season tho with football fans, new heights has kinda become a swfitie pod.
😂
Jules is such a good interviewer. He times the questions really well.
and you treat howie mandel like shit fuck you
GREAT INTERVIEW!!! Keep it up champ!!
Great Gatsby.. East Egg, West Egg. Great comparison between the New and the Establishment.
Dana “Im so tired of podcasts” White
Howie's not a Patriot. 🤣
Probably because he has to carry each conversation
Was this pre or post Howie?
We need to know!
Oct of last year I think
The Dunkin Super Bowl commercial with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and "Touchdown Tommy on the keys" was hilarious, and prob my fav commercial they showed..... at the end when theyre all leaving but J-Lo is like "nah Tom..... u can stay 😍" Brady has a great sense of humor off the football field lol
Huge Pats fan! Since I was a little kid watching Drew take a hit that changed the course of NFL history, the fact that UFC and fight sports could be on here more is a GREAT thought! Fought and competed at an amateur level across MMA/Boxing/Kickboxing... Amazing Episode
Poor Drew, he was always second fiddle!
Jules should’ve oiled him up!
Hey, I’m the FIRST VIEWER!! If your not First your Last 😂.. Sorry for saying stupid stuff, I just thought it was cool to be the first commenter!! Especially since Dana said he wasn’t doing Podcast anymore so excited to hear this one ..
Best topic ever ❤
Gotta comment again this was a fucking awesome episode thanks guys
Jon Jones was a champion before Khabib had his first UFC fight and is still champion 4 years after Khabib retired and is a double champ! It's not even close!
Jon is a cheats on PEDS
crazy that jules is dana white with hair.
Can’t unsee it lol
“The duel in the desert” was the first ufc fight I ever watched. I’ve been a massive fan ever since so it’ll always be a special one for me
Been waiting for this episode eddlenuts let's goooo
Great Episode 😊
That intro was absolute fire!
I ve been watching UFC for over 15 years and i cab say the major turning point where the UFC went Up and became a global sensation was after the khabib McGregor brawl. Most watched fight till date.
Dana is one of the only guests on a pod that doesn't even need to plug anything! Respect
Awesome episode guys!
Real recognizes Real
Great job getting Dana
Sean omally next!
Man that fight is Historic 👌😎 for the first time I watch UFC fight in Cinema after hours in Dubai which is unusual till today. PPV done crazy profits for UFC that night.
Loved this show. Edelnut is a boss.
props to the person who made the intro
How big of a fight it was looking back I can't believe it was only back in 2018. I just wasn't into the sport yet man smh, wish I would have seen that fight live
Great pod guys! I’m hitting subscribe after this comment!
Man UFC 229, Khabib vs Conor McGregor was legendary, the hype was something else man. Great podcast with Dana White. 😊
It was like almost fight time & I couldn't believe it was actually going to go down. I always thought someone would pull out !
@@richardmorris7063facts bro, the hype was crazy, we’ve had plenty of fights ruined by last minute injuries, glad this one actually took place.
Was nice seeing khabib maul Conor but it was a one sided beat down I can think of way more better fights
Great one Jules!
Why is an intro in a random podcast, a 20x better promo/ad than the promo/announcment of UFC 300 main event? LMAO
Awesome interview thanks Dana & Edelman
this INTRO is a badddaaasssssss
Great podcast. Dana is always good on the mic, maybe the best.
Absolute W pod!
Wait who is the host Julian edelman?
Edelman should wait to dip after the podcast you can tell in the bottom lip and hear it quite a bit when he speaks
Hey does anyone happen to know if they were filming this episode at the Wynn Las Vegas?
They said they were multiple times. Referred to it as, "their home away from home."
@@Kitty8791 are you sure? I only heard them say it a thousand times but I feel like a thousand-and-one would have done the trick
“His ground game isn’t that bad either”- Daddy White.
Great Poadcast
Dude this episode could’ve been 3 hours long. I would’ve listened to this all day long
UFC 229 is easily in top 5 best and most impactful events in combat sports history. Even Dana won't acknowledge this but he absolutely loved the bad blood and ugly buildup along with the aftermath. Conor is amongst the best promoters but don't compare him with Ali who is extremely intellectual and connected with all kinds of people globally leaving a meaningful impact and positive influence amongst great humanitarian work all the time. Just lame by Dana saying that Ali never looked the same after a 3 year break unlike Jon winning the heavyweight belt. Jon has only fought once during the last 4 years. Ali ended up beating/fighting around 20 champions and 20 hall of famers at heavyweight and got 19 title defenses and 22 title fight wins in 25 world title fights.
I wholeheartedly agree with your comment about Ali,Conor nor anyone else is on Ali's level because he is on a level by himself.
Top 5 😂 nope the fight was a 1 sided beat down
@@michaelrb9837 The entire UFC 229 event overall was quite dramatic, which started with UFC 223 buildup, and the aftermath along with the history between Khabib, Tony, Conor, Max and Pettis along with their connection to the lightweight division.
@@alcottdevalte7440 It was mid
I like seeing when people ask Dana who he thinks the greatest of all time is, and each time he replies with 'Jon Jones'. Some people refute that purely based on his past controversies, from alleged PED use to being arrested, suspended and more. But you can't deny greatness 🤷♂. Even Dana and Jon have had their beefs but now he speaks about him almost proudly, it's kinda wholesome
For yrs I hated JJ, then when he took off three yrs I grew to respect what he did now I like the guy. I know he's f....up plenty but I'm still behind him.
Okay but where can we buy that Patriots hat tho?? I can’t find it in that color anywhere online!
How/ where do you get those hats like an old school LA Raiders hat, but with different team names like he's got?
Games With Names is the best damn podcast out there hands down
Watching the walk ins for khabib and Mcgregor was an out of body experience. Had my whole family at the couch quiet.
Khabib vs McGregor 2
Lets go ❤
What a fucking intro that editor needs a mf RAISE ‼️💯
You guys the bomb new subscriber!
Must be worth doing, where Howie is not!
Finally after asking for Dana almost every episode
Edelman. Reading your shirt. You should bring on Chuck Norris to talk about his fight against Bruce Lee. Or Jackie Chan on podcast filming 'Enter the Dragon' with Bruce Lee.
That intro is great. Lol
Very nice enjoyed this episode
Just because of Dana idk how I feel about wwe tho
I had a rough life growing up, for 20 years the pats made me feel like a winner when there wasn't a lot to look forward to. Forever greatful, forever foxborough
I love hearing nfl guys speaking of their incredible respect of mma fighters. Most of us grew up wanting to be in the nfl or NBA etc, the younger kids coming up with mma easily accessible can now aim to be mma fighters and for that I'm jealous haha.
This dude's the best Interviewer ever
I get Jim Miller vibes when I think of Julian’s imagined career as a UFC fighter.
Also, I appreciate Dana White for the necessary villain he has had to be in order for the UFC to thrive.
