Thank you so much, a great reaction! Very sincere and thoughtful. Yes, Dimash has a gift. Plus, he has also worked hard to refine it. This was the first performance at 'the Singer', Chinese contest for professional singers, and it made him famous overnight. Dimash was here 22 and had already 17 years practice behind him (started music studies at age 5). Now at 27 he is even better, and keeps practicing. Shortly, music is his life. Dimash is all-around musician. He can play many instruments, compose, and he arranges the songs he sings (today usually with his music arranger). He has degrees both in classical as well as pop/jazz vocals, and last spring he finished his masters at composing. At the moment Dimash is doing the doctorate in musicology. All that while managing his international singing career [!]. Dimash's repertoire is very diverse. He loves all kind of music and can sing pretty much anything, and so he does:):) I'd think he has songs for every taste. Welcome to explore Dimash's world!

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve languages.
I just consider him the greatest vocalist of all time. He is also a humble and kind gentleman to boot. I have nothing but great comments for our golden voiced King Dimash.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to take the opportunity here to say something as unknowningly Dredd praised me more than I deserve in this video.
My wife and I have been huge Dimashs fans since 2017. I have watched Dredd try so hard on youtube for 450 videos. He is such a nice guy and has a good heart.
I knew Dredd had a musical background and the knowledge to critique music and not just react. When I asked him, had he heard of Dimash?' and he had no clue what I was on about. I knew that maybe this would be a nice idea for him to try.
As always the wonderful Dear community has come here to support a man on a journey that will change his life. Only Dimash can do this to someone and It is so nice to see.
As a long term fan, I will do my best to inform Dredd of 'just enough' to not spoil the road ahead and when he is ready, I will talk with Dredd and work out what song he would like next and what Video would be best (and what version of that video) for him.
There are so many amazing versions of each song to choose between. Some are candy to the eye while others are perfect to watch the vocal technique.
My only goal here is to bring 1 more person into the light that is Dimash and hope that people see this and go to Dimash's personal channel and support him. Dimash is the true light here and we all need to give him all the love he gives us in return. Love you Dimash xxxx

Just like to add a little to his story.
He plays seven instruments, sings 12 different languages, has a vocal range 6 to 7 octaves, has been recorded singing whistle notes up to d8, is working on his Doctorat, gets enendated with flower at his performances, that he delivers to seniors homes and hospital's. Can sing the Diva Dance from 5th element with ease. He is 6ft. 3in, now 28 years old.
Igor Krutoy a famous pianist and song writer came out of retirement just because of Dimash and has collaborated on many songs with him.

I certainly enjoyed your reaction to Dimash (Dee MAHSH/MOSH)! All those examples you have of how other reactors have reacted are true.... I've watched hundreds of reactors to this and other performances of his and they run the gamut. I've seen people fall off chairs, leave the room, scream, cry, show their goosebumps up close on the camera, etc. It's very entertaining to watch first-time reactors, and you were no exception! 😁 You'd be amazed at how many heavy metal fans love Dimash. Not necessarily his music, although you can't judge the genre he sings by this one French song, but they appreciate vocal talent when they hear it. I hope you do more and I'm subscribing for that reason. I grew up on more 60's and 70's music but I'm 74 so I've been exposed to my dad's music (Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra, etc.), plus everything since then. And I can honestly say that I have never been such an avid fan to any singer or band as I have been to Dimash. Anyway, greetings from a Las Vegas Dear (ardent fan) and looking forward to more. ✌

I was close friends with Oingo Boingo from their start, so I too love punk and 80's music. That said, there is no greater vocal ability than what Dimash has, he is a true vocal god. Keep on reacting to him and you will become a "Deer" (What Dimash refers to his fans) He doesn't fit into a box, Each song is unique and shocking. Thanks for discovering our hero, and time to go down the rabbit hole. It's a must see/hear before you die. He is on my bucket list to see in concert before I go, I'm just glad I've lived long enough to see and hear this talent.

Thanks for your reaction..you picked up on the greatness and despite the song not being in your favourite style. Why that is good is because Dimash although trained in classical music, actually turned down an offer to be permanently employed by Kazakhstan Opera, to rather do his own thing, crossover and blends of classical, rock, pop, folk, even rap recently! You just have to hear more of his performances and MVs because you haven't heard more than a fraction of his artistry. I am subscribing, I cant believe you wont be drawn back to this great human! I will always prefer his first performance of SOS on The Singer. Just because it was the time I was introduced to him.
Dimash was born in Kazakhstan in 1994. He began studying music at the age of 5, the age at which he was diagnosed with "absolute pitch." He graduated from classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English and studies Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 12 languages.
He has received countless awards and distinctions at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017 he became famous all over the world. He postponed his ARNAU tour due to the pandemic, events that he will resume as soon as the conditions are met. He is also a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (6). He has ventured as an advertising model, actor, dancer and audiovisual director. (He directed the video of him Qairam Elim). He is just 27 years old and is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall. He lives in his country Kazakhstan.
I cannot fail to mention that he is an exceptional human being.

All competitors on this show are established, successful professional singers. Dimash was the exception here. He was invited by the producers of this show as an experimental wild card competitor. He was an unknown in China though he sings professionally in his home country. This is the iconic performance that propels him to stardom in China. Upon broadcast on national tv in China....Dimash became an instant popular celebrity. He hasn't looked back since. He has since grown tremendously as a vocalist/singer/artiste/entertainer/composer, etc.

Yes. Some people jump up and down and scream. Some fall out of their chairs. Most are stunned and speechless, and then they say..."I don't think I've ever heard anyone like this!" No they / we haven't. There hasn't been a Dimash on the planet before. Yes. We are in the presence of Greatness. Most probably the best voice on the planet. Even several professional opera singers are saying they feel privileged to be alive in 'the time of Dimash' (as in - those who were privileged be be around in the 1700's to hear the legendary Farinelli sing) This may sound just a bit over the top - but just listen some more... You are right when you immediately recognised an operatic voice.
Dimash is now 27 - then 23 - both parents professional singers and he was classically trained - including in Opera from the age of 5. When he completed his bachelor studies I understand he was offered a place in the Kazakhstan Opera Company, but declined as he wanted to be free to explore performing across ALL Genres -and when you see his range of songs you will see why this was the right decision for him. He sings in several languages- plays several instruments and has since gone on to complete post graduate studies in composition. He now works with elite musicians and composers around the world.
The revered Russian Composer; Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to write pieces specifically for Dimashs' voice.

You haven't seen but a small small portion of what he can do with that voice. He can go as deep as he can go high, sing in up to 12 languages, is a multi-instrumentalist and sings in many genres. The 500 strong audience are all high up in the music industry, they are the judges. The people in the back are the other contestants and their assigned vocal coaches. All the contestants are very famous singers in China, Dimash is a wildcard from another country Kazakhstan. No one had heard him sing before in China and Dimash won this episode, it was expected he would go home after this episode. Dimash sings ALL genres, there will be something he sings that you like!
As much as i'd like him to sing Hard rock / heavy metal / punk, I think i am going to be captivated by everything he sings, regardless of its musical style.

HAD to subscribe, my friend--all I can say is keep em coming!! As you have been able to see, you will get lots (and lots and lots) of suggestions for his performances. But if it's alright, I'd like to fill you in on more of who he is as a person: EXCEEDINGLY humble, respectful, kind, loving, patient, considerate, intelligent, generous, grateful, honest, and dedicated, as well as having a simply great playful sense of humor. There's always a twinkle behind those eyes! And you will never, EVER, see him being rude or disrespectful--to ANYONE--even when he is exhausted. Never any alcohol or drugs, let alone drama. Here's the main thing--we will ALL tell you that I'm NOT exaggerating about these. SERIOUSLY. Mark my words--you will see.
Yes, he named us his "Dears" because he said we fans are as dear to him as his family...and his family means everything to him. And he MEANS it. Just wait until you watch some videos of interactions with his Dears. There is not a fake bone in his body of insincerity that is so common in many other celebrities. He constantly tells everyone at his concerts just HOW much he loves them and appreciates them. REPEATEDLY. When was the last time you saw that at ANY concert??? Aaaand, he's a security team's nightmare, going down on his knees (and sometimes stomach!) to shake Dears' outstretched hands from the edge of the stage and even jumping down into the crowd while continuing to sing as he walks around. (It's actually kinda funny watching the older bodyguards try and keep pace with him!) Haha!!
Another thing which says SO much about his character is that at the end of all of his solo concerts, he ALWAYS thanks EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE STAGE, individually, giving them their moment in the limelight. I'm talking not only musicians, but backup singers and dancers, etc.. Plus, Dimash absolutely adores children and will make such an amazing dad someday--you'll agree if you ever watch some videos with him and them together.
Last but certainly not least, Dimash has said that his dream is to unite the people of the world--irregardless of geographical boundaries, politics, religions, or cultures, etc.) in peace and love through his music. The more you find out (the Dears are a good example) the more you will realize he's SUCCEEDING. (Sorry for my War and Peace!)

@@MistValleyGaming He and his team (including his dad who's his manager) have been slowly grooming him for the last 1-2 years for the western market...but Dimash will always retain some of his beloved Kazakh roots. (He's no fool--LITERALLY!--as he's currently working on his PhD in music.) If you watch his concerts and especially music videos, you'll see the progression as time has ticked by. He already has conquered the Asian and Russian markets, etc., and the US/western one is next. It won't be long now!
he has male, female, angel, bird, dog, dolphin, electric guitar, violin, flute, auto tuned, alien voice so that's was an easy things for him... by the way he is from Area51. 👍

Well, you set the bar incredibly high on your first music video reaction. As a 61 year old who grew up on hard rock and metal, I can honestly say Dimash had absolutely no trouble winning me over. You have seen a small sample of his amazing talent. That was from 2017, when Dimash was 22 years old. He's gotten much better. If you like a singer who can make you feel his emotion, then you've come to the right place. Enjoy the ride!!!
Yeah, I was always more of a Judas Priest fan myself, and the bands that came after them. As an adult, I've become a big Ramones fan. And now, in my 50s, I find myself a Dimash fan...life is strange but wonderful, isn't it?

He has been classically trained since the age of five; both of his parents are famous Kazakh singers and producer (mother a soprano opera singer; father a contemporary producer and singer. Dimash gas a 6-octave range and gas worked tirelessly all his life, not only on già singing, but also his education ( Masters degree in composition and working towards his Doctoral). This was 2017. His voice has matured and he's even greater today. You can find this song translated. You should check out Show Must Go On by Queen. He nails it. And oh no, he's not opera, he's anything he wants to do and he does do it all. He's working on his doctorate now. He's studied music from the age of 5. I'm a die hard ROCKER but I am in love with Dimash. He does it all and rock and rap like you've never heard. Don't underestimate him. All performances will blow your mind.

Dimash you Dear man has 6 plus Octaves & he has been training his voice since he was five years old. (A note for you Freddie Mercury had 4 Octaves.) So at this age you see him he has 20 of his years spent to make his voice the best he can. He sings any genre he chooses. This song is a very difficult song but, Dimash does it with ease. The second belt he did was in pop. This rendition of SOS was sung Opera & Pop. He mixes genres within any song. As he does this the song always flows with ease. Yes you might discover that Dimash becomes an addiction like we have on first time viewers of Dimash and then we get introduced to their channel. Subscriptions always seem to take a spike afterwards. Lack of words to describe is a common symptom.
If you want something that has a drum beat u described that goes through you, then his recent performance of Stranger and his performance of Olympico will get you pumping with goose bumps everywhere while your jaw drops to the floor.

I absolutely think you would enjoy reacting to more Dimash though this is not your style. My humble opinion is that you owe it to yourself to listen a bit more to the best vocalist in our life time. I also believe that you will enjoy hearing Dimash's lower register. Something like "Sinful Passion" would probably give you a different view of Dimash's talent. Dimash is truly amazing, he's exploring more and more genres, always with the thought of bringing genres together and crossing over so perhaps one day it's going to be heavy metal, nothing would surprise me. You might want to try Kieli Meken which has a traditional message but more of a rock beat, also Samaltau from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. His music videos are a work of art in themselves.
