One of my absolute favorite pieces since hearing Bobby Hebb’s recording in 1966. There is a ton of talent here. Would love to know what they’re all doing now.

Was listening to different versions of this song. I see these fella's crowded into their buddies house, each with their particular instrument. I think to myself, I remember those days, I guess I'll watch it. Then the man opened his mouth... a silvery, slippery. smooth voice, I had quite unanticipated, had me instantly frozen in my tracks. And the band did Not disappoint me. They were the most chill, groovin'est guys, all doing their job and none showing off. Just watching them and listening to them made my day. I am playing this over and over.

As a bassist, I love the bass player's in-the-pocket, clean playing, with just the right amount of emotion to keep the bass line interesting. A beautiful cover of one of my all time favorite songs!

I really love the sound. This is one of the few bands who actually have all the instruments at just the right level. A good amount of bass, guitar, trombone, vocals; it's just perfect.

This is a very beautiful song from around 1964 (cerca ) by Bobby Hebb. very nice tune, great performance, you just don't hear good old music like this anymore. I was a young man when this came so it brings back such beautiful memories of the past. April, 2020.
We were pretty rushed - I usually just try to get people as close together as possible when we're doing live tracking. There's a fair bit of bi-directional polar pattern usage, which really helps things like drums stay isolated. I time-aligned the vocal with the snare drum and flipped the polarity to cancel out about 40% of the drum bleed in the vocal. Most of the time, I find that I can filter out pops from a dynamic mic, and I don't worry much with 'twaun, he's got some serious control.
Everything about this version is beyond fantastic! Well done!

While I think Bobby Hebb's original is THE best rendition--ever--this take is excellent. Fine backup music; everyone is great. Sunny is one of those songs that's almost impossible to do badly. Everyone here does it up right!

It's my love for this song that brought me here. You guys sound great. I have a feeling you guys would kill this Bobby Hebb classic even more were you outside of the house. On the other hand this particular song sounds right at this volume. I played in two bands in the past (guitars, vocals) and performed as well, so I know what it feels like. You guys know good music.
