How you apply action is also important a lot of ppl move their rod too much. You don’t want to hop the bait too hard because it will move too much. Typically you want your shake it lightly so it tilts up and down off the bottom rather than coming way off the bottom. Sometimes it coming way off the bottom is good but typically the little shakes are what get the more shy fish to bite because it’s more subtle.
Great tips. There is no better bait or presentation to catch a ton of bass or even large bass. Shallow, deep, or even twitching along the suface weightless texas rigged the senko does it all.
I mean, I have had good luck with the Neko without doing all that, but seems like solid tips to improve performance. Curious about the hook position though, I usually use a double O-Ring
