Welp, I know what my season 3 starter will be! Non-traditional builds are the best! Thank you for always thinking outside of the box as well as the math behind this. Honestly, I think you're one of the top tier D2 content creators.
So you can also make this build almost invincible too with a +9 ES Memory Staff which isne even that hard to get or find. This is hands down the best build in the game. If you get a Memory with +3 on the base you can hit lvl 38 (max) energy shield. Use an A2 Prayer merc with insight, Cure, and CoH - now you have insane mana and life regen, and it removes curses and poison for you. you're basically indestructible now due to the lvl 38 energy sheild and this. I tried this with a lower energy shield and I ripped way too many times when energy sheild is at like lvl 28 - You REALLY need the levl 38 energy sheild with memory for this thing to be not only durable, but damn near indestructible. You lose some Attack rating and of course the -resistance from conviction but it honestly to me almost makes no difference. Tested this multiple times switching between mercs and its really only noticeable past players 3 and chances are if youre in a players 8 game... its chaos or baal runs anyway and someone likely already has an infinity. I don't even use battle orders 1700mana/450 life. Just swap memory off after using energy sheild, switch to eshutas and spirit.. use enchant on me and merc and youre good to go for 1000 seconds aka 15 minutes.
I know this video was specific to a fire bug fix but the way you broke down pierce and how it relates to enchanted skills really helped me with my frost maiden build who just hit lvl 90. I switched from an A2 Might to A2 Blessed Aim and my Freezing arrows have been way more effective at spreading the damage through packs (attack rating went from like 4k to almost 8k). So much so that I can do P3 as easily as I was doing P1 before. Just need a Razortail to max my pierce (SSF so it's been a nightmare) to really tear things up. Since I am doing HC, P1 feels that much safer now. THANK YOU
you gotta put that dragon armor on, the holy fire dmg applies to your explosive shot, furthermore the applied dmg is multiplied by your fire mastery. It's actually pretty insane.
Dragon actually isn’t as good as 20/-20 armour since the added damage from the aura is about the same as the flat dmg from 4 facets and an additional -20 fire res goes a long way to boost dmg back broken immunity mobs
I started with this, maxing Hydra synergies & ended up switching up to max energy shield. The damage difference is surprisingly underwhelming. ES is a much better option. I actually think throwing on 2 Wisp Projectors & maxing Lightning synergies is a much stronger option.

You know what I appreciate about this build? The only runeword is flickering flame, which could honestly be replaced with a faceted 3 soc helm and it would still be OP. That said, yeah, I'm definitely on the train of "how many s tier sorc builds do they need?!"
It's really only a few key skills that cause so many S tier builds to exist. Until they change those skills, Sorc will always have new S tier builds popping up.
@@SwordSaint83 Which tier list are you refering to? For starter builds, cold sorc is still S-Tier. Just due to the fact that FO and Blizzard offer a very decent throughput at low mana costs, without any gg gear pieces. For endgame purposes, Cold Sorc has never been S-Tier, thats always been the lightning tree.
The day I watched this video, a Demon Machine dropped for me on Ladder! So I respecced to give her a go, the remaining Eschutas and F Charms I need are Non Ladder so the timing was perfect to have a bit of fun at Ladder end. I also think we'll be seeing less Cold Sorcs and more Fire/Light ones. Thanks for this niche build I love them all!
I wonder how this ultimately will pan out in practise once the real patch drops in, and with the prebuffing, slower teleport casting and not firing super fast, and keeping in mind that most people won't be soloing players 8 content as well. Would like to see how this fairs in a series of timed players 8 cow runs. It's going to be a good build regardless and a good showcase from you all the same.
It's weird, it's a build that strives in P8. On lower player count you'd get better efficiency out of a higher geared fireball Sorc. But for "equivalent" gear value it out performs most things other than LF.
@@MacroBioBoi Fireball - if build correctly - is a P8 killer, like any geared-for-it non cold sorc :) Plus the greatest thing about a sorc are the fcr frames (that's why a sorc (given a good build) solo clears most things faster than a javazon - which is much stronger once she is there). Also pre-buffing is a big nono for online play IF one cares about efficiency. Like making the run 5%-10% slower is a big deal (I didn't test this but no pre-buff might be even more efficient, of course it will, among other things, be highly dependent on the run length). There are a lot of choices which change the time to complete a run by a few % so the cumulative affect of all choices of a build is quite big (10% would be huge already if you are a grinder). Nevertheless this seems like a nice buff to a previously super niche old build which was played by very few people only.
The most impressive part of it is he has a heavy Boston accent when he isn't presenting; he showed it off in one of his recent videos and it completely took me by surprise. He is a really talented presenter.

I already know this build from a youtuber who likes to play off-meta builds, called DoubleBilly. That the build now becomes an S Tier build, makes me excited.
Holy shit. This build is insane. It melted P8 cows and it even Melted P8 Diablo. On top of the Elite packs for the hit switches. S-Tier build fer sure.
I've been running this build for a bit over two months now in Non-Ladder, and I can safely say it's my favourite build for PvM. It kills faster than any sorc I've ever played, bar maybe a Nova Sorc holding her own Infinity. It's far easier to do runs and kill packs than a Hammerdin With a full ES package, it is VERY difficult to die randomly like sorcs can be prone to doing. If you're looking for easy, mass PvM clearing, key running, etc. This is the build Only gripe is that you don't have space for MF gear, so the good ol' 3-piece-Tals Blizz Sorc isn't redundant just yet I've literally taken this build for turning keys into organs (not brave enough to try uber Tristram though!) because with full buff and great gear, you kill the bosses in like, 10-15 shots, even FEWER if you get put a wall behind them for an extra explosion.
Mac, theory crafting question for you--I'd love to work with an Act 1 Merc on this build, particularly since I don't regularly use one on all my others. For example, on my GF barb, I've added in the Act 5 merc (that actually contributes and survives!), which has been a blast, and I want to do something similar here. So--looking at the setup with your enchant merc build, it's an up'd Kuko Shakaku, treachery, and wisdom. Fires explosive arrows with 83% pierce. Since we're the killing machines ourselves, what about a fire Act 1 merc with mist bow (100% pierce, freezes targets, conc aura), and then giving her a flickering flame as well so she has extra fire damage? The tradeoff is she isn't constantly firing explosive, but she's an insane crowd control, should be very strong damage, and when she fires explosive arrows, they always deliver. Thoughts?
It's very important that you watch my second enchant Merc video after the one you first watched. It doesn't work like we assumed but it's actually stronger.
And here ppl were complaining about the auradin which falls off at p3-5 lol nothing wrong with this build though you do make some sacrifices with fcr and other things I think it's fair
you keep saying double dip, but you have multiple items that increase fire dmg by 300ish%. On the wowhead hero editor at lvl 51 across the board, enchant only hits like 4.6-5.3k So where would this 3.6x increase in damage come from? I also deleted the fire mastery completely to show damage to ranged before patch 2.6 and the enchant damage dropped to 960-1.1k like the patch is live single player, so i could test it there if i had a maxed char to use, but i refuse to download a sketchy hero editor to see if maybe the numbers differ from the online tool, but it seems to me that your whole video is bogus, the math just doesnt make sense to me, could someone please explain to me where all this extra damage is coming from if not those cheater items?

Thank you for this content. I respec'd from a decent cold sore to this build. It's crushing everything. Arcane sanctuary, with it's long/straight hallways is so easy to clear now.
Exactly the build i used on 2.5 3rd week, it was already really powerfull, but without double dip paladin was even stronger, now it probably need a nerf if it works the way you peedicted (wich i agree) after the patch.
Been messing around with a simular build. I am online but play solo most of the time. I use a insight heal merc, which keeps me alive in 99% of the time. I use sandstorm treks (4 the PR) lidless eye shield for the lower STR requirement. Also a good memory staff on switch (enchant/ES on staff) Got annoyed with constantly battle orderinging and switching around so i run without that now. I only die from the little buggers in durance of hate. Everything else get leveled with 7k per shot. Everything else is pretty much the same. Is very fun.
How good is it on budget gear? Say it has the sunder, but no skillers, rings, torch, anni, CTA, or infinity. Is it still good enough for efficient P1 cows/Chaos?
I made one before this change and yes. Skill point investment is so low for enchant that you can get a strong Frozen Orb to complement if you want to do a play through without GG stuff With good but reasonable gear this build already clears cows comparably to a high end Nova Sorc. Also really good in Stony Tomb. Not great in Chaos or WSK With these changes it’s going to be way too good. Bet it gets nerfed before long
Lol, that's a laugh and a half Enchantresses have been my jam since I started playing back in 1.08 Ngl, I find it odd that they consider this change a return to Fire Mastery "functioning as intended"
I built it, it’s just as badass as he says. A bit annoying buffing to realize 30 seconds into your run you are out of bolts but all in all unstoppable with a sunder.
A regular fireball sorc will deal 115k dps to P8 cows with 95% similar gear (same charms, ormus vs viper, 6 facets cs). I don't think it would be too far from ""competing''. Faster teleport, less prebuff, no bolts, war travs instead of trek because of Spirit shield.
Loved this build! Melts everything in the game, fire immune or not, on P1. Enchantress was not good before lvl 49; start as a different build and re-spec to Enchant when you get your gear. I'm looking for a fire facet to socket the bow with. I'll keep Mage Fist for pre-buffing but use Laying of Hands to get the needed IAS. 1 point in the Blaze skill is a very nice compliment to Enchant as it has the same synergy skills and allows you to lay down fire as you back away from very strong mobs like Hell Baal wave 5. Wasn't able to kill D-clone with this though (needed some prevent monster heal for that).
Throw a Nef in that bitch.. & get Dracs. That IAS isnt doin anything. Put on an Andys Mask if you want that miniscule bit of added attack speed. It's only a difference of about an extra 1 arrow per 6 shots compared to no ias.
Great video, just a thought - why not use Kuko bow? If my calculations are correct, you can achieve 10 and even 9th attack speed breakpoint with hustle.

Hi Marco great content as usual, I’ve found something that only you can debunk to be honest, it’s the mana regen/warmth skill for sorc, every time when I respec a sorc and put skill points in the warmth mana Regen I can see that in the character stats I have the right amount of mana regen from warmth and gear, however every time when I create a new game it’s down to about 80% from a 300% ( I’m running obsession with 29regen mana, arach, crafter caster boots and amulet with about 16%combined sojs CoH and griffins frost burn and I still can’t understand how it works, I’ve been looking into a table about the generic mana regen but I have doubts is correct, if I need to relay on someone who can explain correctly how it works it needs to be you!! Thanks in advance and keep up the good content 👏
@@MacroBioBoi Hi Marco, I've messaged you in the discord server, here is the link for a quick video showcasing the mana regen before and after a reset, you can clearly see that the mana regen is going from almost 270% procent to 70% after a new game is created, which I`m not sure is it bug in the number or actual deduction, I can clearly feel the mana regen difference with 4k Mana after the CTA Buff, I`m really trying to understand what is the brakepoint where putting more points in warmth is better compared to putting more in telekensis,as you potentially outhealing the damage taken with your mana regen instantly rather then deploying slowly the mana from a small mana regen%, Let me know your thoughts also happy to share screen to demonstrate..

I'm trying to convince Classic player to give similar/inspired build a whirl. Raven Claw/Hellcast for Explosive arrow and Iratha set for chance to pierce%? Not sure, if you can get enough +skills in Classic to get it working (gear swap for pre-buff etc), but I won't give up easily ;)
Edit: Forgot that sunder doesn't work for your merc.... so nvm... :D This fire mastery fix should also buff you're "Enchantress Human Merc" build...? Where you just buffed up and supported your act 1 explosive arrow rouge and she deleted everthing xD
In my opinion a build that needs a massive pre-buff of almost all entire gear is not a S-Tier build. Don't get me wrong, you did a nice job showing us the potential damage , but it will be much appreciated if you can show us this build in P7-P8 without the massive prebuff. Making this crazy pre buff over and over again every run is too tedious.
The prebuff takes 6 seconds in town. Is that actually too long for a 12 minute buff? If you don't do the prebuff you still get around 12-15k fire damage.
It doesn't need the pre-buff to function, though. Basically all Enchant and/or Energy Shield Sorc builds have pre-buff to min-max but it isn't completely necessary to function. This build is no different.
@MacroBioBoi can we get the details on how this build would perform as a baby noob version.. say like with a Kuko Shakaku and a razortail, and a few +skillswould this build perform on p1 non fire immunes, now it double dips im was thinking it probably could do quite well in certain areas but id like to know from a professional
It crushes with any gear on P1. Kuko is actually harder to build around than Demon machine. Demon machine is the most budget version of the build and also the best.
Its great that they're making slight changes to a game without absurd power creep that games like DE's "Warframe" suffer from. Brings new life into an already fun game without tearing away from the original.
btw is there any particular reason why youre running the non-upped version of the Demon Machine? We could get a little bit more physical dmg at the cost of some aditional str and dex req.
So this build really got me scratching my head about theory crafting the act 3 merc. considering he natively has a level 35 enchant at his disposal at level 95 as well as an extra +2 armor/+2sword/+2shield/+3helm (flickering flame) with an extra +9 skills in total making his enchant a level 44. I figured this level enchant would similarly show fire damage results the way that my enchant/+skill gear does. also, not sure if points into warmth would buff the enchant that he can cast on you? Unless there is something i'm missing, I figured this would work just as good if not better by allowing me to free up +20 skills in enchant to make this build even more unique. Maybe +20 points in hydra? I'm sure there is something i'm not fully understanding about the mechanics here, but if not, this seems like a missed opportunity to make the act 3 merc viable. Especially now that he can rock a +2 skill plague sword to get the -58% lower res proc as well as the cleansing aura for pesky curses, poisons and frozen timers and even sacrificing the +2skill shield to maybe throw on a phoenix shield to get -28% fire res and getting rid of corpses for nihlathak. If anyone can shed more light on this if i'm missing something do tell.
I thought it was the other ways around with the range enchant update/patch. Yay. TY for video. My bow sorc is back. I haven't played with Thunder storm. But with static being up there. You might want to put 1 point in light mastery and 2 points to get thunderstorm.. Again I have no idea about thunder storm dps.
Apologies if I’m missing something but does “fire skill +%” apply/work when pre-buffing? Or is the Eschutas just being used for pre-buff because its +3 skills and one-handed so you can get the +2 skills from Spirit as well. Jw bc my Eschuta’s is only +2 and would assume an Oculus would be better to use in my case unless ofc fire skill dmg +% does carry over when swap buffing.
I found that weapon a while ago and threw it away because I needed space. Turns out you can buy a second copy of the game and run 2 games on the same pc for more mules.
Just out of curiosity, why would you keep fire skillers after pre-buff? If the enchant keeps all of its damage after gear swap, wouldn't it be better to have lightning skillers for + to static and + to ES? The only thing fire skillers help after pre-buff is warmth, right? Maybe there's something I'm not seeing. Or maybe even max dmg charms, but I'm not entirely sure if that translates to much. The Fire Mastery applies to your attack again for ranged fire attacks from the demon machine. It applies once from the initial cast buff, then again when you shoot your exploding arrow. This is why the enchantress does more damage than other ppl with your enchant buff on.

Just finished building this with +7 Obsession. 54 Enchant gives you 5.6k dmg and the character screen says 24k dmg. Everything melts. Good stuff.

Well tbh they just killed Frostnova with the most recent changes. Take one, give one, sounds fair.

How's it worked so far?
At this point, you should be using that fire act I mercenary with Mist and make her feel like the option power up on a scrolling shooter game.

this was always my favorite fun niche sorc built even 10 years ago, but its nice that its actually good now with the fix.
And here I was thinking this might be a ladder not overrun by sorcs...
sorcs have teleport and some of the best aoe in the game, ladder is always going to be overrun by sorcs unless they cut damage to 1/8th or so :P
But at least it's a cool fire sorc

It's a cool build but I HATE changing out gear for prebuffs. Anything that makes the game any more tedious really sucks the fun out.
Just don't do the prebuff swap, you still get about 15k fire damage.
Holy shit. This build is insane. It melted P8 cows and it even Melted P8 Diablo. On top of the Elite packs for the hit switches. S-Tier build fer sure.

I've been running this build for a bit over two months now in Non-Ladder, and I can safely say it's my favourite build for PvM.
It kills faster than any sorc I've ever played, bar maybe a Nova Sorc holding her own Infinity.
It's far easier to do runs and kill packs than a Hammerdin
With a full ES package, it is VERY difficult to die randomly like sorcs can be prone to doing.
If you're looking for easy, mass PvM clearing, key running, etc. This is the build
Only gripe is that you don't have space for MF gear, so the good ol' 3-piece-Tals Blizz Sorc isn't redundant just yet
I've literally taken this build for turning keys into organs (not brave enough to try uber Tristram though!) because with full buff and great gear, you kill the bosses in like, 10-15 shots, even FEWER if you get put a wall behind them for an extra explosion.
This is also my favorite way to play Sorc.
Mac, theory crafting question for you--I'd love to work with an Act 1 Merc on this build, particularly since I don't regularly use one on all my others. For example, on my GF barb, I've added in the Act 5 merc (that actually contributes and survives!), which has been a blast, and I want to do something similar here.
So--looking at the setup with your enchant merc build, it's an up'd Kuko Shakaku, treachery, and wisdom. Fires explosive arrows with 83% pierce.
Since we're the killing machines ourselves, what about a fire Act 1 merc with mist bow (100% pierce, freezes targets, conc aura), and then giving her a flickering flame as well so she has extra fire damage? The tradeoff is she isn't constantly firing explosive, but she's an insane crowd control, should be very strong damage, and when she fires explosive arrows, they always deliver. Thoughts?
It's very important that you watch my second enchant Merc video after the one you first watched. It doesn't work like we assumed but it's actually stronger.
I would recommend using a memory staff with +3 to enchant and energy shield on swap.

you keep saying double dip, but you have multiple items that increase fire dmg by 300ish%. On the wowhead hero editor at lvl 51 across the board, enchant only hits like 4.6-5.3k
So where would this 3.6x increase in damage come from?
I also deleted the fire mastery completely to show damage to ranged before patch 2.6 and the enchant damage dropped to 960-1.1k
like the patch is live single player, so i could test it there if i had a maxed char to use, but i refuse to download a sketchy hero editor to see if maybe the numbers differ from the online tool, but it seems to me that your whole video is bogus, the math just doesnt make sense to me, could someone please explain to me where all this extra damage is coming from if not those cheater items?
Did you watch the mechanics section at all? I think you'd benefit from watching the mechanics section. It's actually stronger than what I show here, but I do explain all of this in the mechanics section.

Exactly the build i used on 2.5 3rd week, it was already really powerfull, but without double dip paladin was even stronger, now it probably need a nerf if it works the way you peedicted (wich i agree) after the patch.
I recently found a demon machine on Single player, so glad I kept it!

Been messing around with a simular build. I am online but play solo most of the time. I use a insight heal merc, which keeps me alive in 99% of the time. I use sandstorm treks (4 the PR) lidless eye shield for the lower STR requirement. Also a good memory staff on switch (enchant/ES on staff) Got annoyed with constantly battle orderinging and switching around so i run without that now. I only die from the little buggers in durance of hate. Everything else get leveled with 7k per shot. Everything else is pretty much the same. Is very fun.
How good is it on budget gear? Say it has the sunder, but no skillers, rings, torch, anni, CTA, or infinity. Is it still good enough for efficient P1 cows/Chaos?
I made one before this change and yes. Skill point investment is so low for enchant that you can get a strong Frozen Orb to complement if you want to do a play through without GG stuff
With good but reasonable gear this build already clears cows comparably to a high end Nova Sorc. Also really good in Stony Tomb. Not great in Chaos or WSK
With these changes it’s going to be way too good. Bet it gets nerfed before long

I built it, it’s just as badass as he says. A bit annoying buffing to realize 30 seconds into your run you are out of bolts but all in all unstoppable with a sunder.
Would having dragon armor on (holy fire aura) give you an exponential boost to damage or is that too much fire stacking for the game to keep up?
A regular fireball sorc will deal 115k dps to P8 cows with 95% similar gear (same charms, ormus vs viper, 6 facets cs). I don't think it would be too far from ""competing''.
Faster teleport, less prebuff, no bolts, war travs instead of trek because of Spirit shield.
Yep, if except those fireballs stop at the first cow they hit. This build is doing 200k dps and the explosion spreads further.
On a bow enchant sorc I always liked spirit and occy on switch to Tele and static alot faster. But I made a super budget build.
Loved this build! Melts everything in the game, fire immune or not, on P1. Enchantress was not good before lvl 49; start as a different build and re-spec to Enchant when you get your gear. I'm looking for a fire facet to socket the bow with. I'll keep Mage Fist for pre-buffing but use Laying of Hands to get the needed IAS. 1 point in the Blaze skill is a very nice compliment to Enchant as it has the same synergy skills and allows you to lay down fire as you back away from very strong mobs like Hell Baal wave 5. Wasn't able to kill D-clone with this though (needed some prevent monster heal for that).
Throw a Nef in that bitch.. & get Dracs. That IAS isnt doin anything. Put on an Andys Mask if you want that miniscule bit of added attack speed.
It's only a difference of about an extra 1 arrow per 6 shots compared to no ias.
I tried it and to be honest it can kill bosses extremely fast as well as near Javazon levels of crowd control. The only issue is she is quite squishy.
Great video, just a thought - why not use Kuko bow? If my calculations are correct, you can achieve 10 and even 9th attack speed breakpoint with hustle.
You need much better gear with Kuko, and you lose 16% pierce and +skills and potentially FCR.

Hi Marco great content as usual, I’ve found something that only you can debunk to be honest, it’s the mana regen/warmth skill for sorc, every time when I respec a sorc and put skill points in the warmth mana Regen I can see that in the character stats I have the right amount of mana regen from warmth and gear, however every time when I create a new game it’s down to about 80% from a 300% ( I’m running obsession with 29regen mana, arach, crafter caster boots and amulet with about 16%combined sojs CoH and griffins frost burn and I still can’t understand how it works, I’ve been looking into a table about the generic mana regen but I have doubts is correct, if I need to relay on someone who can explain correctly how it works it needs to be you!! Thanks in advance and keep up the good content 👏

@@MacroBioBoi Hi Marco, I've messaged you in the discord server, here is the link for a quick video showcasing the mana regen before and after a reset, you can clearly see that the mana regen is going from almost 270% procent to 70% after a new game is created, which I`m not sure is it bug in the number or actual deduction, I can clearly feel the mana regen difference with 4k Mana after the CTA Buff, I`m really trying to understand what is the brakepoint where putting more points in warmth is better compared to putting more in telekensis,as you potentially outhealing the damage taken with your mana regen instantly rather then deploying slowly the mana from a small mana regen%, Let me know your thoughts also happy to share screen to demonstrate..

farming meph with this will be super chill. I would run dual spirit for teleporting to meph and switch to xbow when you reach him.
I'm trying to convince Classic player to give similar/inspired build a whirl. Raven Claw/Hellcast for Explosive arrow and Iratha set for chance to pierce%? Not sure, if you can get enough +skills in Classic to get it working (gear swap for pre-buff etc), but I won't give up easily ;)

This fire mastery fix should also buff you're "Enchantress Human Merc" build...? Where you just buffed up and supported your act 1 explosive arrow rouge and she deleted everthing xD

In my opinion a build that needs a massive pre-buff of almost all entire gear is not a S-Tier build. Don't get me wrong, you did a nice job showing us the potential damage , but it will be much appreciated if you can show us this build in P7-P8 without the massive prebuff. Making this crazy pre buff over and over again every run is too tedious.
The prebuff takes 6 seconds in town. Is that actually too long for a 12 minute buff? If you don't do the prebuff you still get around 12-15k fire damage.
It doesn't need the pre-buff to function, though. Basically all Enchant and/or Energy Shield Sorc builds have pre-buff to min-max but it isn't completely necessary to function. This build is no different.

It crushes with any gear on P1. Kuko is actually harder to build around than Demon machine. Demon machine is the most budget version of the build and also the best.
Its great that they're making slight changes to a game without absurd power creep that games like DE's "Warframe" suffer from. Brings new life into an already fun game without tearing away from the original.

High lords is useless on the build since we're at max frame attack speed already. Golem is fun tho.
So this build really got me scratching my head about theory crafting the act 3 merc. considering he natively has a level 35 enchant at his disposal at level 95 as well as an extra +2 armor/+2sword/+2shield/+3helm (flickering flame) with an extra +9 skills in total making his enchant a level 44. I figured this level enchant would similarly show fire damage results the way that my enchant/+skill gear does. also, not sure if points into warmth would buff the enchant that he can cast on you? Unless there is something i'm missing, I figured this would work just as good if not better by allowing me to free up +20 skills in enchant to make this build even more unique. Maybe +20 points in hydra? I'm sure there is something i'm not fully understanding about the mechanics here, but if not, this seems like a missed opportunity to make the act 3 merc viable. Especially now that he can rock a +2 skill plague sword to get the -58% lower res proc as well as the cleansing aura for pesky curses, poisons and frozen timers and even sacrificing the +2skill shield to maybe throw on a phoenix shield to get -28% fire res and getting rid of corpses for nihlathak. If anyone can shed more light on this if i'm missing something do tell.
His enchant is very weak because he doesn't have synergies or fire mastery

I haven't played with Thunder storm. But with static being up there. You might want to put 1 point in light mastery and 2 points to get thunderstorm.. Again I have no idea about thunder storm dps.
Thunderstorm is sadly trash even at full synergies and it blinds you indoors.

Jw bc my Eschuta’s is only +2 and would assume an Oculus would be better to use in my case unless ofc fire skill dmg +% does carry over when swap buffing.

This is pretty budget gear you just tune down the life res and magic find on charm's etc. It does well but only p1-3

Just out of curiosity, why would you keep fire skillers after pre-buff? If the enchant keeps all of its damage after gear swap, wouldn't it be better to have lightning skillers for + to static and + to ES? The only thing fire skillers help after pre-buff is warmth, right? Maybe there's something I'm not seeing. Or maybe even max dmg charms, but I'm not entirely sure if that translates to much.

The Fire Mastery applies to your attack again for ranged fire attacks from the demon machine. It applies once from the initial cast buff, then again when you shoot your exploding arrow. This is why the enchantress does more damage than other ppl with your enchant buff on.
