That is a nice truck, you got lucky on finding a mint one. Yeah I've had that happen when bought my m35a2/m109a2, after that I replaced every brake line rubber and metal, replaced master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and rebuilt the air pack, brake pads were all brand-new, truck original miles were 2880. I'll give you some advice, make sure e brake works great, and adjusted correctly, grease everything, make sure all fuel lines are perfect, no issues sucking air, and most of all, makes sure all torque rod bushings are good and drill out and put bolt with plate over as safety so if they do wear out they won't come off. I love my m925, 5 ton, all air brakes and runs great, I love my duece and half, but I'm pretty attached to my 5 ton.

Folks that were in the military likely know what gear is put through. Some get good maintenance, some don't etc. When you buy something surplus or from a 3rd parts, it needs a good check out. One of the 1st things I did when I got the truck was drain & replace all fluids, replace all wheel cylinders and seals, etc. And then the mess of upgrades began... If anyone buys one of these, please check the brakes out ASAP or before you do the 1st road trip.
