The Autofocus point is still more than the Sony A7C. The only downpoint is the lack of cheap fast prime. I believe, after finishing the stock of the Canon RP, the R8 will be offered in 1099-1199 USD. Already in this Black Friday, it goes down to 1299 from 1499 USD. Although Canon R8 is not a competitor of Sony A7C it is the version 2 camera of Canon RP although initially they dreamed of replacing the R with R8.

2. The shutter of R8 remains open while changing lenses.

There is no IBIS in Canon R8 , I have mentioned it in the video.

Stay with nikon.this time zf is best bcoz it's expeed 7 processor.but it feel video camera then still.but doing best in still photography maybe nikon as soon launch z6 7 type body with expeed 7.ur required wildlife and nikon colour r best for nature and wildlife.and nikon is always bazzat friendly.

All mirrorless camera gets warm specially when you shoot at 4K 60 and above but some cameras shuts down for a while and that’s bad. So you have to be careful specially shooting at outdoors as temperature is high. Switch it off when not using it. Check both camera before buying it

Depends… best is canon RF 85mm f2 and other expensive lens is canon 85mm f1.2. Both are perfect for portraits

Well you can use 50mm lens as it’s an allrounder lens. But 85mm focal length is more better for portraits shots

Canon R8 is all about cost effectiveness, no compromise in image quality and video , compromise is mostly on user comfort.. BUT saves a lot of money which makes the buyer to decide according to his budget.
