The train @1:39 arrive only 20 seconds after the perviou train left! Was that a NIS train or what?

No, it has to be at least 1-2 min apart from each other. Because of the signalling system design only allow 1 train per region in the signalling system, but it was due to upgrade to the newer signalling system but in 2019, during a test in midnight 1 train bound to Central from Admiralty crash into a Tsuen Wan bound train from Central, right now its still in testing, but because of that the East Rail line became the first MTR line to have an upgraded system from 6/2/2021, which signalled the end of the SP1900 service on the EAL and the start of service of the 9-car R-train
