- The new chivalry 2 update titled regicide will be coming this month may 2024. In this new update we will be getting a new map citadel a new weapon the godendag and of course a new battle pass. Are you excited for the next content update in chivalry 2.

Imagine a Star Wars game with Chiv mechanics...
I’ve thot about that, would be crazy. Imagine a galactic conquest type gamemode with chiv where u conquer Europe or some shit, 4 hour matches with voting for which strategy and voting in of vip’s and shit, would b fun

Honestly not a bad idea, maybe some clash moments like the first battlefront with Luke and Vader, but add other characters in that too

Knowing TB, probably this may as well be the last major update. Though if TB is the "passionate development team" they say they are, they could use Malric's Heir in the future for maps or actually introduced the Tenosian Empress ect
Game has like 10 maps with plenty of weapons and good balance. They supported it for years with updates what more can you expect? Maybe they wanna make Chiv 3?
@@jakeford6381 You definitely haven't played Chivalry Medieval Warfare or looked at Mordhau. Go back to these games and compare. Chivalry 2 is widely lackluster compared to these two older games.
@@anotherraingr I definitely have played those games. Chiv 2 is a great game but I suspect you played too much and are burned out.

They added tenosians barely fleshed them out and left it at that
the "tension with the tenosians" is very small. Dont think they will get VIP

@@daboss258 didn't say "nobody" I said Almost no one. Because they don't have many voices, skins, or armoury choices as Agatha and Masons that players like or enjoy. They have to work on that first before adding VIP to them.

If this is the last update, hopefully we get a feudal japanese setting for the next game. (Ik they had samurai in the deadliest warrior dlc and ik we're getting other samurai games rn but a game with chivalry 2 combat and graphics in feudal japan sounds really cool to me)
Yeah it would be really cool with katanas, kamas, odachi, kanabo, naginata, etc.

@@SlavaZomba To be fair, it could be annoying to get sniped across the map but there could be ways to balance it. That would only work if it was a mid-late sengoku jidai setting though. There's a ton of weapons and armor designs/customization options they could add if they went for a samurai game

There's mountains of issues that Torn Banner are straight up refusing to address, and it's killing their game.

Very much looking forward to the new TO map. I’ll stay optimistisk allthough the last two ( stacking of bitch-town and Montecrux D-day) were kinda underwhelming in my opinion. I hit level 1000 a while ago and hope to retire chiv 2 for a new improved version of what i love about the game. Stridah,- much respect for your send-off video for Dave, i’ve expirenced the loss of a close freind and i commend your effort, turning greif and loss into a positive reflection and trying to pull the community together towards support for each other. A Big W for the champ in a situation more difficult than a 10 v 1 ❤

Gonna be honest, after not playing for some odd monthes. The update isnt quite good enough to justify returning to the game.
Almost all the new gear is locked behind the battlepass and im not giving them another 10$ to get the shit i already paid for.

It’s not gonna be the end if you ask me, argon’s stronghold can end with argon dying but since regicide, exists that event (or at least the end) never happened. They may keep updating because it’s just as simple as it may not be the end of the 2 kings
I would love a pirate game with Chiv mechanics. Pirates vs Royal Navy. Cutlasses, boarding axes, cannons, flintlocks, blunderbuss, fishing rods, grenados, molotov. So much cool potential
There was the Deadliest Warrior DLC for the old Chiv. Such a fun game
Love the game but there are so so many bugs still with matchmaking, would be great if they fixed those before they called the game finished.

Games still goated even if they never updated it from launch, even if you just play it casually eventually you’ll be master swordsman. Just the kinda game where you can’t get mad at dying a lot.
