Queer Day: A music festival empowering SA’s LGBTQIA+ community, showcases queer talent & businesses.

The Friends I Keep recently hit a Queer Festival in Johannesburg, SA. Founded by Okay Tkay, Queer Day soaked us in a hot line up of talented Southern African artists, sharing the stage with upcoming names in the arts & entertainment industry. It’s fast becoming a hit on SA’s social calendar & here’s why:
-It empowers S. Africa’s LGBTQIA+ community
-Upholds the rights of the Queer community
-Fosters mentorship/partnership between established artists & upcoming ones
-Partnered with the Q-Network to showcase local queer businesses
And all this layered with dope African sounds, great food and very…VERY scrumptious looking humans!!!
