(also thank you for being one of the only accepting reactors i've seen on youtube. i know plenty of people have dropped this anime because of the gay vibe it gives off. its so sad since the animation is so beautiful)

U should watch the real skaters. Victor is based on russian legend Evgeni Plushenko and Yuuri Katsuki (not russian Yuri) is based on Yuzuru Hanyu. An less the the authors anime used part of their backgroud stories.
Yuuri's backgroung story and personality is nothing like Hanyu's though? I don't see it ...The only paralel is the early idolization of a russian skater but that could be said to several others who idolized Plushenko or Yagudin at their peak days, even though nowadays Hanyu's the more famous example. Yuuri seems to be more of a Tatsuki Machida's underdog to top skater background crossover with just a hint of Hanyu. And Victor the impossible skater lmfao The russian Yuri is a mean version of Julia Lipnitskaya. None of them is a replica of an existing skater and I think that's great. But giving this, I approve the recommentation of some figure skating programs for context too.

I just check out pictures and it beautiful I really would loved to go sometime maybe one day if I do make it big lol I'll do a vlogg trip of me going around japan just visiting everywhere with no rush even going to the small place and taking it slow so you guys can also enjoy and see where are coolest places to go that aren't overrated

Hey, i love the reaction.... but please, look up a map sometime. Japan isn't located in the southern hemisphere! As for snow in April, that just depends on where you live. For me, i live in Finland, and it's uncommon for us to not have snow at that time of the year, since it's considered the beginning of spring. And we most certainly don't live in the south! :'D ok ok maybe i was a bit too amused by this...
