- BMW’s first electric SUV is nothing short of amazing, especially when taken to the M60 level. We’re talking 610 horsepower, 811 lb-ft of torque and a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds. And unlike the i4 I recently tested, this one was born electric so it looks and feels even more special.

Can't believe the adaptive cruise gap control is buried in a menu. Am I the only one that changes following distances to match conditions?
I've never seen 21" wheels/tyres with that big of a sidewall! LOL Front end aside, BMW did a great job with this beast.

This is a fun,very informative video. Learned a bunch while enjoying Steve’s enthusiasm for it. My wife and I really like its looks, inside and out, though understand while some will need more time, especially walking around the car to perhaps get over their initial non-enthusiasm for its front . What an accomplished SUV, being practical, fun to drive and having such a great interior. Too bad its price will leave some not being able to get theirs.

How would you compare the iX M60 versus the X7 M60i? I know they are very different cars, but what would you choose if it was your money? I would love to know your thoughts as I am about to order one of the two. Thanks!

Steve, Debbie Gibson's Out of the Blue - man we're old! Too funny that's what showed up on sat radio. Great overview as always. To your point, iXM is for the wealthy. I think it's terribly disfigured - it reminds me of an 80's Alfa Milano's rear end - that car appeared as though the designer's pen slipped when designing the car, and the same impression is left with this BMW. But BMW doesn't make beautiful cars anymore, so I guess fast and fun is a good boobie prize.
Old and proud! Saw her in concert back in the day and she's still going strong!

This is TERRIBLE. 8 shortcuts are gone. Climate control buttons are gone. Heated seats and ventilated seat buttons are gone and are now in iDrive. WILL NOT BUY A BMW again until this crap is fixed!!! I get it's a simplification and cost cutting measure on their end. But if I'm paying BMW prices they can afford to put some FREAKING BUTTONS in there -- sorry. I'm not navigating through a UI menu structure every time I want to adjust simple things. Furthermore, that's not even safe. People need to be watching THE ROAD -- not the screen. They just removed one of their greatest competitive advantages. I might as well broaden my search quite a bit if they are going to get on the idiotic buttonless bandwagon fashion trend.

Lexus is the ugliest. The rest of the Lexus sucks at least the BMW Handles and accelerates much better than any Lexus outside a LFA

I’m sorry, I would have to say this is the worst looking BMW on sale (which is really saying something), and one of the worst looking cars on sale right now. It looks bulbous, and the interior reminds me of a minivan. I’m sure it’s fast, but most EVs are. I couldn’t imagine picking this over a rivian. And if I only cared about driving dynamics, I couldn’t imagine picking an SUV
Still not appropriate for Canadian winters.
Free charging…of course- once you try charging with EA’s pathetic system and lack of network, they have to give it away…

I bought BMW IX in October, drove 3 weeks, couple defects happened. BMW told me it’s dangerous to drive again and hold my car for almost two months to fixed. The driving assistant system could kill me if it fails when I use the cruise mode. BMW just suggest me don’t use the cruise mode which I have paid.
Garbage products control and customer service, very regret buying BMW.
