  • Customers asked for lighter battery packs but still want to keep the comfort and size of a regular scooter, so Pride Mobility answered and integrated a Lithium-Ion battery to a standard transportable mobility scooter. The Endurance Li four-wheel scooter replaces the Go-Go LX four wheel. The Endurance Li keeps all the features of the LX such as Suspension, front light, stadium style seat but comes in a choice of two Lithium-Ion battery sizes, 8ah for air travel or short distance and the optional 16ah Maxx for longer range travel.

    Converted the SC53 GoGo to Lithium, and had to add a 400ohm resistor to the battery meter lead (24v vs 28.3v adjustment).

    I have this scooter. Battery life is great! The only negative, for me, is the turning radius. The 48" turning radius doesn't do well in theme park queues. I believe an average turning radius is around 44".

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  Před 10 měsíci

      The turning radius is the tradeoff you get with having better stability of the four wheels. Shame they only make it in a four wheel version (for now!)

    Is there an After Market Battery for Suoer Handy scooter ,..I am only getting 4-5 kilometers on the Batteries , I got 2 they both Sucks ,..Where can I fund a Better range Battery ???

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  Před 8 měsíci

      The Super HandyScoot looks like it runs on potable power tool batterie (48V) so it would be all down to the AH rating of the battery. I could try to increase the AH value but not too much or you could start effecting the motor and controller with over wattage. The sepcs for distance they say QUOTE "The scooter includes 2 SuperHandy 48v Li-ion Batteries giving you over 6 miles of range w/ each battery. " If you are traveling on any uphill gradients, it will eat those batteries alive and reduce the drive range, but I'm sure the advertisements don't tell you that.

    My husband is a polio survivor. He wears leg brace and always works. He is now having some issues, and we are thinking about a scooter that I can put I can put in my Subaru ascent. He's watched your video, and I'm checking out options. He said the battery only has a 6-month warranty . Help with answers please

      Hi Brenda, I would suggest visiting a local scooter dealer so you can get a better understanding of what you and your husband need and are capable of lifting. A good dealer would know all the right question to ask and also be able to answer any questions you have. Please don't be pulled into the online cheap prices offered Amazon and the like as if you have any problems, you might get stuck with something that dosnt work for you. We see many people who buy some funny named scooters and can never get repairs, parts and even someone to call.
      Your husband is correct, some batteries are warranted for only 6 months via a third-party battery supplier and not the manufactures themselves even though the manufactures do supply the warranted batteries. This doesn't mean that the batteries will only last six month. Good charging, storage and maintenance routine, depending on the size and type of battery you should get a good 2 to 3 years of use from a set of batteries (SLA) check out my video on batteries to get all the answers.

      @lasvegasscooterslifts Thank you so much. I first felt bad contacting people. We did go to a local medical supplier, and my husband really liked the 3 wheel scooter made by PRIDE. It does have a warranty and can be delivered. In fact, when we continue to talk to the owner. We find out he went to school with our oldest son and is a good person. Thank you so much again for reaching out to us. Brenda L Sterling

      Hi Brenda, if you are thinking of buying a used scooter from a private individual it will not have a warranty. All manufacture warranties are nontransferable. Unless you are buying a used scooter from a dealer, they may put their own in-house warranty on the scooter, but private sellers or dealers cannot pass on manufactures warranties to you. Good luck with your search.
