That roof was barely slanted! I am almost 63 years old and only 5 feet 2 inches, and female. I have to crawl up on my roof at least once a year for varios reasons. For one, I have a leak that I have to keep patching because being a single female at my age, I can't afford to have someone else repair it or replace it, (cost of living and inflation is ridiculous, and I only have one income). I also cut down a 20 foot long tree branch overhanging the house, and I clean my gutters. My roof has an incline of 2 to 3 times as much as that tiny little slant they're making up excuses for! If a 63 year old woman can do what I do, then why can't the secret service do their job? Am I more fit and capable than they are? This is why I personally know the secret service is lying amd making up crazy excuses!

I'm older than you and I climb on 6/12 roofs all the time.
Definitely and an especially insulting lie to the people, no surprise there. Secret Service undergo rigorous physical training as of course do police. Unbelievably, as told on a video, one police officer stood on another officers shoulders to get up on the roof, but when he ducked to avoid being shot he fell off his fellow officer's shoulders!
BTW, I pray you always wear one of those Safety Harness Fall Protection things; many years ago my sister's friend lost her young husband after he fell off his roof and broke his neck then his brain stem swelled. He left behind two toddlers.
I admire and envy your tenacity, skill and bravery in doing your own home maintenance, especially roof. I've never owned a home and wondered how I would do when repairs were needed-I'm also a single woman in my 60s .

According to Dan Bongino, a reliable source told him that a local tactical counter sniper team was supposed to be on the roof of that building, but for some reason chose to position through a second floor window instead. And for some absurd reason, nobody noticed that the roof was unmanned. So, if this is true, then the lame excuse about the 'roof sloping issue' is an outright lie attempting to cover this up.
Moreover, that’s a metal roof….why didn’t they hear him on the roof?

That’s interesting, Legally Armed America did an analysis of the angle of the shot that nicked Trump’s ear. He was confused about where Crooks was positioned because often the news diagrams show him on the extreme west end of the building, but the video of the body on the roof shows him on east half of that roof. However, the analysis he did showed that the shot had to come from just over the extreme west end and there happens to be an open window on the second floor right there. The audio of the cellphone right there shows no echo whatsoever for the first three shots that are separate in time from the flurry of six or so shots that follow that clearly have an echo.
And remember...he never took a salary! So give him the dollars for protection.

There can't be 2 different pass/fail qualifications for a job like secret service. A male and female have to be graded on the same pass/fail times, weights etc. If a man has to run a certain distance in 12 minutes then the female should have to meet the same requirements. If a male has to drag a 350 lbs man 30 feet in such time then the female has to do the same. Period

@gerriulrich948 There very well could be two or more shooters, so the protectee CANNOT be exposed at any exit point - particularly his/her head cannot be exposed! This is partially in answer to the comment that the "sniper was neutralized by then". May well be true, but sniper #2 is alive and well!
@@wb6csh there's no 2nd sniper/additional gunfire. Regardless, the point stands - the reason they let him up to go to hospital was because they recieved word THAT sniper was no longer active. Standard protocol in that scenario.

Got news for you,…that’s EXACTLY what’s happening at our airlines. I retired from my flight attendant job because of all the DEI pilot hires. They went from professional, college educated, former military….to goofballs hired off the street. I no longer felt safe on our aircraft. You are right to be concerned.

I worked alongside the Secret Service more than half a dozen times and specifically supervised local security from advanced agents through departure. This never would have occurred at any of our events!
Was it a failure and lapses; or was it intentional and involving inside job? If you could see that such lapses in security are obvious and unacceptable, then are you hinting that it was intentional and inside job?

Sloped roof--what a joke and insulting lie--what roof isn't? Secret service get rigorous physical training as do police officers. Advance planning for scaling that roof in advance of the rally would have been a total cinch. And communication .between the Secret Service and local Law Enforcement--are we supposed to believe they forgot about this unsecured nearby building?

There should be height, weight, physical ability requirement criteria instead to DEI hiring. When lives are at stake you need the best qualified. Certain roles just have to have certain requirements for hiring. Trump did not have ample/best/most experienced protection.

There's such a thing as a harness for roofers when they work on high-pitched roofs. The excuse given by Cheatle for the snipers not being on that roof where the assailant was is ludicrous.
But you can clearly see the counter snippers on a sloped roof at the same event - what a bunch of bs. This response does not help restore confidence. Dublin, Ireland.

Worrying about a safe roof for the agents to be on? Come on! These agents are hired to put their safety, health and life on the line every second of the day. We’re not talking about EMS drivers who can’t go into a unsafe situation until police have secured an area. The secret service aren’t fire fighters who have the choice to draw back from danger when called for. The secret service know they are supposed to be human shields to protect at ALL COSTS no matter the danger. And she wants to baby her agents and protect them from so called sloped roofs? Take that woman out of her position. You can’t mother secret service agents. They know they might have to die every day to protect whomever they’re protecting. Immediately I noticed that short woman wasn’t tall enough and tough enough to protect a target as large as Trump. The other agent is holding his arm up to shield Trumps head to take up the slack. She was shaking trying to take her sunglasses off, she fumbled and stumbled while chewing her gum. I didn’t feel like it was a safe situation with these incompetent female agents at all. The secret service failed all the way around. If it had been an attack against Biden or anyone else I would say the same thing. People should lose their jobs over this no doubt about it.
If after all the investigation is over and no answers are given then you need to look at those investigating the event. Cause an inside game is possible even if you guys don't want to look in that direction.
In a position where physical strength, height, and weight are important, sexual equality should not even be considered. Can you do the job? That is all that matters. If it is a desk job, it MAY be a different story, MAYBE....

We where trained by my mother who was a resistance fighter in world war two she said see everything stay calm take action when you can before and afterwards
The best person qualified for the job is absolutely more important than political precedence. We know also that God Almighty intervened and hopefully peoples eyes will open and see there are many problems and it has to be addressed taking one at a time and fix the origin of where things that went wrong started.
But first pray for God's wisdom, knowledge and insight to reveal the truth and how to deal with each of the problems.

The first woman to give her account of the event was seated "about 6 people behind the president, to his left" ... she said she heard what sounded like a firecracker going off "over there" (she pointed to her left - that would be to the right, on our screen), then she said immediately after that sound there were more sounds coming from "over there', she was pointing toward the building where Crooks had fired the shots. Until yesterday, I never heard anyone speak of the "other building" ... I believe she said it was a tin structure. She wasn't questioning or analyzing what she saw and heard. She was just repeating it. I'm sure she thought security was aware of the places she pointed out.
Why didn't the security surround Trump then and escort him off the platform ?

It would be interesting to know the sizes of the agents assigned to Kamala and Jill and how many they had guarding them. Weren't their events indoors? How experienced were those agents vs the ones supposed guarding Trump?

My biggest question is what happened during that time that the shooter was seen on the building and the shots rang out. Some say 26 minutes while police were in that building.
And if there were Agents in that building, shouldn't they have been called to check out the roof? This situation is a disaster and it shows failures. Those failures should be accountable.

When I worked in CID IRS, often the agents would be used to protect the president when he came to town.
And if ANYONE is going to protect someone, they need to be as tall as the person they're protecting.

I read comments about why 2 snipers together. They are a team and one is a spotter but also a sniper. They have different powerd scopes for the optimum weapon for the range will be used.
