Obviously right now, the girls are appearing in a lot more variety shows and Jisoo even has a kdrama coming up. But this explosion of participation came AFTER their US breakthrough with Coachella and also, YG himself stepping down after the BI incident.
I do think they would've went full steam if Covid didn't happen, but then again, Covid did throw a wrench in a lot of kpop.

@@jac1207 that's not true. they've always been promoting jennie and lisa and jisoo since predebut whether it was collabs or acting or mcing or through dancing. rosé was always hidden until she appeared on two shows in 2017 and then they stopped allowing her to have solo gigs and focused on the others for years again even delaying rosé's solo debut for 3 years even though rosé said she was ready to release gone back in 2018/19.

Pheebs I get what you're saying, but it seems like it's her ordinary act, she originally seems kind of shy and plus she has an aussie accent, plus her members do say that she has aegyo in her everyday speech and aegyo is usually high pitch and cutesy, but who knows. Still in love with Rosey

Yeah, but tbh i don't think there's anything wrong with a girl trying to look cute in front of a camera. Some male and female idols does it and i think of it as a part of a fan service. But Rosé seems to get hate even on the articles not related to those things. She actually doesn't sound like that while she's speaking english. I admit, she does goes over the top sometimes, but i thinks she sounds little more cutsey while speaking in Korean and Japanese even without trying, probably because of her voice. I don't think this should be a reason to hate somebody, when we don't even know what she's like in real life. All things aside, i think she's a really sweet girl who's only trying to fulfuill her dreams.
