Stand with you Royal T, I wrote a letter and sent a email to corporate of Hobby lobby stating the cause as well as you stated we should see more of our culture decor and items displayed on the marquee also I let them know with this billion dollar business the majority of consumers are African American, and being a African American myself I am so glad we are voicing our opinion and making them aware of what they already know and letting them know we see the differences...and again this dies not just stand for home decor but our Jobs communities we need to see more of our own people serving each other and not tearing one another down we have taken as you said the 3 tokens they have given us and become complacent....we also need to do better as well as these businesses..... praying for you sis and together we are a force.🙏❤️

Hey Lady T, I emailed both companies. I understand what you’re saying and it’s disheartening, Here in Orlando Florida Dollar Tree was killing the Juneteenth game last year I purchased everything they had (plastic cups, plates, napkins, placemats, scarves, sunglasses and necklaces) I purchased Juneteenth T-shirts for my grands from children’s palace and our adult shirts and other clothing and household items from Roses ( I don’t know if you have one where you live) and besides that Juneteenth is my deceased fathers birthday so for them to have decor was something special to me and my siblings. We as a people truly need to get together and do right by each other and circle our currency amongst us and not jack up prices, take pride in our work and be a people of our word. As an educator our school system definitely teach black history and have even taken Dr. Seuss books out of the schools (we found out he was racist and petitioned against his books). On point… No Juneteenth deco in several stores around town. The whiter the town less and less of anything African American you will find. It’s over due! I make a big deal every year in white Ville. More ppl write in the more power we will have to make change!!! Prayers up ink to paper and will see what happens!!! What my mom use to tell me…Nothing beat a failure but a try!!!! GOD Speed!

Hi Travina!! I also ordered Juneteenth from Temu as well as Dollar.Tree. As soon as I saw Juneteenth in Dollar Tree I Got cups, napkins, and plates. From Temu I got a wreath to put on my door as well as.a.table.runner to put on my coffee table in the living room. I've ordered my family Juneteenth t shirts from Temu as well. So Temu has a good selection but, I suggest to order now if you want to receive it by Juneteenth. Tfs. God Bless ❤
I’m on the committee planning our 50 year reunion which I’ve helped plan all our reunions from 10 year to 50. Our class colors are royal blue and powder blue and we’re also using black and gold
Those colors sounds so pretty together! Our colors are red black and white and this will be my third one. I’m excited about it! I guess I’ll probably be on the committee for every reunion too! Lol.

I completely agree with you concerning Juneteenth. I went on Amazon and bought an African print ribbon and made bow last year and put a wreath on my front door. It just a small thing but sometimes we have create our own
