YOU: "I love how they didn't even need to cast anyone as 'Vanisher'. I don't think we'll ever see this character..."
ME: "Wait for it...."
Apparently, Ryan paid Brad a cup of coffee to come in to do the electrocution scene...lol
@@bjgandalf69Brad returned the favor of cameo in Bullet Train
You know what the funniest part about this movie was? The main selling point was X-Force in the trailers 😂
To be fair, we did get X-Force in the end, just a different lineup.
Yep. And in a story from my past: I bought a case of 250 New Mutants #100 (1st X-Force) back when they came out because I thought that issue would be huge. I eventually sold the last one years later. If only I had bought the issue #98 (1st Deadpool) instead. 🙃
I'll never forget seeing this in theatres and my wife not believing me (until the credits) that it was Brad Pitt 😂
This comment is making me wonder if they're going to do that with Deadpool 3 with Wolverine, what if after all this hype hes only in the movie for like 5-10 minutes, not that i think Huge would go through that intense training to get back in that shape only have that short of a screen time, but omg that would be hilarious.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they filmed the x force scene multiple times with different outcomes and levels of success so none of the actors knew which version was used until the premiere
"One of the guys who killed the dog in John Wick" isn't just a joke, it's technically true. Deadpool 2 was directed by David Leitch, who co-directed the first John Wick movie.
Thank you Captain Obvious smdh.
@@BamaMatters11 Not everyone knows that unless they're all rushing to IMDB every time they watch a movie. Some might've thought that was just a throwaway joke at the expense of the director and apropos of nothing.
@@BamaMatters11 Bro didn't have his cereal this morning, damn.
that's the point, yes
Thank you for that information! I actually was not aware of that and thought it was just a joke.
In 2018, Josh Brolin turned back the time in two different movies.
Two different marvel movies
I think you might be the first reactor to notice Stan Lee's "cameo". Since he had passed, they decided to paint a mural of him instead
I laughed harder than I should’ve when Deadpool got ripped in half.
I laughed hard when Vanisher got electrocuted because of Brad Pitt's facial expression.
That moment was a real side-splitter.

That movie had no right being that emotional. What an amazing reaction as always
And to think, this tearful ride of an amazing movie was released THREE WEEKS after the funeral that was Avengers Infinity War.
Domino's luck certainly is cinematic, and super dark, actually. Did you notice her good luck seemed to coincide with someone else's bad luck? Turns out the reason she's so lucky is that she's stealing it from those around her. In the comics it's more straightforward, it's just one guy that gets all her bad luck. I like this version better, though
I thought that the canon explanation was that she wasn't "lucky" per se, but that she had very subtle but powerful telekinetic powers that were not under her conscious control but would result in things that she wanted to happen being more likely to happen, like, guns of villains jamming, winds carrying her to a perfect parachute landing, etc.
@@nooneofconsequence1251 Yeah that could happen too. Comic writers tend to just explain things as they go. Or at least they used to
Domino: This is Easy.
Domino's Team: Dead.
Bystanders: Dead.
Oh thank you for this explanation.. 😁
I would have said it if you didn’t. Domino’s luck power looks like a good power to have at first, until you realize that your fortune causes everyone else’s misfortune.
The scene with him and Vanessa at the end with that particular version of Take on Me got to me in the theaters. It's one of the most emotional movie-moments I've had in years.
Death is the only girl for Deadpool.
I never expected that song to make me feel anything but that version had me in tears and it's become one of my favorite songs ever since I saw this movie.
25:35 Deadpool calls Cable "One-Eyed Willy" because the actor (Josh Brolin) played Brandt in "The Goonies". In fact, he makes a few Goonies jokes throughout the movie. He also calls him Thanos at one point, because...well...he played Thanos.
When DP is sitting on the couch with baby legs, he's wearing Chunk's hawaiian shirt from Goonies.
@@chrispipes5451 HA! Yes! Great point!
I remember that!😊
Very good that you watched _Logan_ before this one, so that the references hit right.
You noticed that DP called Cable "Thanos", but did you notice that he made another reference to one of Brolin's earlier films? At one point he calls Cable "One-eyed Willie", which is a reference to the 1985 film _The Goonies_ where Brolin played the older brother "Brand".
Who would have thought that when Vanessa said "Your heart is not in the right place," she meant the _literal internal organ_ and that "the right place" was between a bullet and a troubled kid.
It takes a lot of -ba- _courage_ to completely undo the entire stakes of your movie in a mid-credits scene. But as we've seen, courage is Dopinder's super power, so it shouldn't have come as a surprise. 😉
The shirt Wade is wearing in the scene with the baby legs is the same shirt Brolin wore in Goonies.
@@illstreamthat Is it? Without going back to the movie, just from my vague memories, it reminds me more of what Jeff Cohen (Chunk) wore.
I guess it's time to re-watch _Goonies_ again! 😁
@@SebastianWeinberg It was Chunk's shirt, not Brolin's. Brolin wore some muscle shirt and a headband as he was the sporty oder brother.
“I wanna see a little bit of hope”
It’s Deadpool, there is no hope, only snark.
They did such a great job of making Domino fun in this.
"50 years from now we'll be best friends."
In the comics, Deadpool are best friends with Cable, Wolverine, and Spider-Man 😂
Fun fact: the rednecks that Cable incapacitated are played by Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk.
Fun fact: Cable's father in the comics is Scott Summers aka Cyclops.
And Black Tom Cassidy is Banshee's brother.
And Juggernaut is Charles's stepbrother. Not a mutant though. His powers come from a magic crystal.
And Cable's mother is a clone of Jean Grey (aka Marvel Girl, aka Phoenix, aka Dark Phoenix).
@@mbpobletand when that clone died Jean raised Cable with Scott as a son for a few months until Cable was sent to the future, about a year later a strange old woman would psychically take their minds and out them into bodies of 2 people in the future so they could raise him there for 12 years. Then they are forced to return to the present when the strange old woman died but not before it is revealed that she was an older alternate future version of his sister….yup X-Men comics were weird in the 90’s
Don't Juggernaut's powers come from an entity which is a Demon but also like a primordial being or something like that?.. and that's why he can regenerate, change his physical appearance and appear as big as he wishes or needs, but he can't control it, only the entity.
@@FreddieHg37 yes Cyttorak, however his avatar can only access his power via the Crimson gem of Cyttorak. Fun fact he can also lend his powers to sorcerers, such as in Infinity War where Strange used the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak on Thanos
@@FreddieHg37 Yeah, he's not a mutant, he gets his powers from the Crimson Gem of Cytthorak.

- Inscription on the Gem, apparently.
man, i really can't wait to see Deadpool and Wolverine together in Deadpool 3
Officially Title Is DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE
I recently watched this film again and forgot that Bedlam was played by Terry Crews. And yeah, that was Brad Pitt as The Vanisher. Edit: 41:18 - Yeah, that Green Lantern movie was a BIG mistake. Thank you, DP. 2nd edit: There was a sort of re-release of this film called "Once Upon a Deadpool". It was given a PG-13 rating, featured Fred Savage from the original "Wonder Years", and was released around the Holidays. I feel like tracking down a home media copy of it is difficult, if it even WAS given a home media release. Maybe it was just a limited theatrical release, but I have no idea. Maybe somebody can let me know.
Unlike others I liked the Green Lantern film.
As did I 👍
Interesting on the Once Upon... film. Just found it streaming. It starts out like Princess Bride. I will have to watch it all later.
@@joelwillems4081 Where is it streaming? It's definitely not on Disney+, and Hulu has turned up no results outside of the main film and the first one.

That Deadpool and Vanessa scene towards the end with that beautiful rendition of Take on me didn't have to go that hard. 😭😭
Addie: "I wish Deadpool 3 was already out." Welcome to our world when they were showing premieres for Deadpool. I love the references to the DC universe. Nice reaction Addie, and good seeing you Ollie.
Love the One-Eyed Willy joke. Thats Josh Brolin the oldest brother from The Goonies. Also plays Thanos
There is multiple versions of Deadpool 2 with alternate dialogue. Aside from the PG ish version they did, there are at least 2 other versions.
I really loved Domino's character - it was so cleverly done and her personality was so great.
Cant wait for 3, its very rare that a sequel, especially to this kind of movie, holds up to the first one but they pulled it off.
The Xmen cameo was so good.
wait till it really CLICKS for her where that luck comes from.
Hi Addie!🙂You called it on that wind problem with the X-Force.😄Yep, Vanessa is alive again. He killed that guy with the cheese spreader in the time travel scene. People have brought up the first appearance of Deadpool. This was a nice way to deal with that path not taken. Great reactions to your second Deadpool film, Addie!!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Wait was that actually canon I thought that was just a joke
I enjoy this movie for the action, but it means the most to me for the love that never ends. It transcends time and space, and it will always exist, no matter what. Call me old fashioned, but you’d die for someone, but better yet, you live for them.
If I’m not mistaken, the only reason we got the cameo’s of the other x-men is because they were filming x-men apocalypse at the same time as this and using the same location, the mansion, so it was easy to pull off that little one and make a joke out of it. I like to think that the mansion is always packed with students but they all just hide to avoid DP whenever he comes around.
From what I understand they were the other side of the country and there was a green screen behind Reynolds
An appearance from Ollie has got to be the best way to start our week!!
We get two previous Josh Brolin movies mentioned here. "One eyed Willie" and of course Thanos
Only 14 short months away until Deadpool III !!!
Well if the actors and writers weren’t on strike. All filming has stopped in Hollywood.

Dolly is always a win!
Edit: This movie has such a good message, chosen family can be greater than blood. At least that’s what I’m personally taking from it. Everyone has their take but this being three weeks post Avengers Infinity War, adding in time travel FOR Deadpool at the end gives him the ability to come back whenever he wants.
Yup, the real meaning of the full saying "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb"
Fun reaction, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the sequel to the first Deadpool because I did when I saw it in theaters with my dad. Deadpool still knows his stuff, even when he was split in half by the Juggernaut. I even liked how the choir was cursing during the final fight. However, Vanessa's death was heartbreaking but luckily, she's saved at the end, during a mid-credit scene. BTW, nice Ollie intro and creative censorship at 26:57. I also loved how you enjoyed hearing 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton during the opening kill montage.
What’s funny is that lots went to watch Deadpool 2 after Infinity War.
...and one of the guys who killed the dog in John Wick is the film's director David Leitch. I also suggest his movies Atomic Blonde (2017), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019, in between films 8 & 9) and Bullet Train (2022). #MoreDavidLeitchForAddieCounts
In case no one else said it, Deadpool says "one eyed willie" and it's from The Goonies, which Josh Brolin starred in.
Fun fact. Josh Brolin was in The Goonies and Deadpool called Cable One-eyed Willie who was the pirate in that movie.
There was one more after credit scene at the end too! Great reaction as always. That little laugh of yours kills me. 🤣
Lets not forget that juggernaut had nothing to gain by supporting Russell. He just did it....Team juggernaut!
So... you know where he's fixing X-Men Origins, where he meets Wolverine? There is a version of that scene, which isn't in any of the digital releases anymore, where he says, "Look, eventually, you're going to hang up the claws, and it is going to make a lot of people very sad. But one day, your old friend, Wade, is going to ask you to get back in the saddle again. When he does, say yes." And... we all remembered that when they started giving teasers for Deadpool 3, and let us know that Hugh Jackman would be playing Wolverine in it again. What's even better? In some of the set pictures, he's in a comic book accurate yellow and blue outfit. Glorious.
I've seen a few comments about how the "Take On Me" cover was a weird choice for Wade and Vanessa's afterlife. But it's actually perfect. It's a throwback song, that's kinda ridiculous and hard to take seriously, delivered in an earnest, heartfelt way.
Also, with the invisible wall between them it was a little reminiscent of some scenes in the music video.
And throwback version being equal to or even better than the original release!
I love the cameo of Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk.
Just when I need something to watch, Addie to the rescue!
25:35 - Just realized Deadshot is making a sly reference Goonies - Josh Brolin's first major acting role.
Your doggo looking out the window, at that time, had me rolling ❤😂❤😂
Round the 4 min mark for the thread
I’ve been waiting for this reaction and it didn’t disappoint. You was awesome in this as always addie
Fun bit of trivia: Brad Pitt appeared basically for free in this move ($956 and a cup of coffee.)
Where’d you get the $956 from? I think the cup of coffee part is the most known part of his paycheck for this movie.
@@Andrew.Grabowski SAG scale pay. Union rules required Pitt be paid at least a minimum amount according to the SAG-AFTRA wage table.
For those that don't know, the coffee was the big thing because Pitt required RR to get it from Starbucks himself.
These are so rewatchable. Great reaction!
Something kind of cool is after the standard cut. They made a super Duper cut which not only added scenes, but also used alternate jokes and takes because there was so much improv. Then they released once upon a Deadpool, which was a PG-13 rating so it was censored, and Deadpool has the Ted Savage tied up and in his childhood bedroom from the princess bride and he is telling him the story and then he sensors out the parts that’s needed and we get to see between them, which is great
One thing I always thought was cool about Cable when I was introduced to him in the comics back in the 90s was that his robotic-looking parts are actually a techno-organic virus and he had to always use some of his telekinetic powers to keep it from spreading throughout his body. It's a shame they didn't really touch on that in this movie. The closest we got was when he was looking at it in the mirror in that one scene.
The only mention of it was in the extended version of the movie when Cable was questioning Weasel and talking about pain. It would have been cool to show it more, but they probably thought the movie was already pretty packed with informations.
Addie, it was fun watching you have fun watching this movie. 😁
We need to see more of Ollie.
Just in case you missed it, there’s a “faux competition/feud” between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Sort of like Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon. Which is why it’s so funny that both will be in DP3, and adds comedy to the opening with the Dead Logan music box.
Another great performance from the actor who plays Russell is The Hunt for The Wilderpeople. It's a Taika Waititi movie, it's super heartwarming
"I loved her like the ocean needs the beach"

I almost cracked a rib laughing at your "Elbow-Fist" comment. Fire-Elbow would've been the right swap, but yours is definitely better 😂😂🤣

Excited for DP3!!!!
Wolverine vs Deadpool!!!!
Hey, Addie! I loved "Deadpool 2"! The rated 'R' violence bordered on splat-stick yet it maintained its delicate balance of action, humor and heart! It also fulfilled the promise made at the end of the first movie by bringing Cable and time-travel into the mix!
Cable is a hugely popular X-Men character with a tangled history. He is Nathan Summers, son of Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Madelyn Pryor (Jean Grey's clone) who is infected with a techno-organic virus in infancy. He is taken into a future timeline for treatment and is left there where he grows into a powerful warrior and enemy of Apocalypse. He returns to the present to battle his clone nemesis, Stryfe, and forms X-Force.
The team Deadpool assembles is so ridiculous and is one of the movie's highlights introducing the alien Shatterstar and the lucky Domino as well as Brad Pitt in a surprise cameo and, of course, Pete "Sugar Bear"! I thought it was clever how they interpreted Domino as a black girl with vitiligo around one eye rather than a white girl with a black birthmark around one eye! Lol.
Deadpool's films occur after "Dark Phoenix" in the young X-cast timeline. His reference of Logan dying is the character being self-referential about the franchise as a whole. He is not referring to something that occurred in his timeline's past. The young cast cameo indicates they share the same timeline as Deadpool. The film should be seen last in the sequence to not spoil "Logan" and to serve as a gleeful celebration of the whole franchise!
I loved the young X-cast cameo hiding in the mansion and the 'cleaning-up the timeline' end-credit scene had the audience in the grip of hysterics!

"I don't think anyone else could be Deadpool other than Ryan Renolds." The best quote I've ever heard in the 52 years of my life. I most certainly agree.
Domino's unconscious superpower is that she drains the luck from everyone around her... making her alive, and the rest of the team dead. Haha.
This film has heart and is carries some real emotion... along with the usual fart jokes and whatnot. It's crazy to say that a Deadpool film can genuinely make you tear up.
Juggernaut's power comes from magic and he is one of the most powerful beings. So, yes he definitely survived that.

Speaking of Marvel, I recommend Fantastic Four (Chris Evans) & X-Men Dark Phoenix 👌.
Yeah, Dark Phoenix isn't the most well-liked film for fans of the X-Verse (that's what I'm calling the X-Men universe). I think Addie oughta go into that one with VERY low expectations.
@@EntertainmentFan11 That is mainly because a lot of them believed it was going to be the last film in the series. Despite the fact that there is another X-Men movie coming out next year.
It is an origin story about a character dealing with trauma/PTSD.
Juggernaut is one of my dad's favorite villains. When he appeared in "X-Men: The Last Stand," I had to hear an entire rant afterward about how wrong they got Juggernaut and how disappointed and angry he was. It wasn't until we saw "Deadpool 2" that I understood for real what he meant. He said this Juggernaut was much closer to the comics, and he was certainly cooler and more menacing in my opinion.
Also, when you commented about the music from Annie in that scene, it reminded me of a movie I once watched called "So Close." I can't remember if it was a Japanese or Korean movie, but they had this long gun battle scene, mostly in slow motion, that was set to the song that goes "Why do birds suddenly appear..." It cracked me up when I saw it, and I always think of that movie when I see this movie and that scene.
Juggernaut has always been my favorite too. I was so happy that they finally got him right in a movie. I was right there with your dad ranting about what they did to him in The Last Stand. I really hope they bring him back in future movies
Funny thing: My favourite appearance of Juggernaut in the comics was actually a rather harmless one. Colossus, Nightcrawler and Wolverine were hanging out in a bar where Juggernaut also was at the time incognito. Through an accident a brawl started between Colossus and Juggernaut. Wolverine, noticing that Juggernaut wasn't actually out for blood and Colossus needed to blow off some steam decided not to get involved. In the end Colossus lost, the bar was a pile of rubble but Jugs wasn't mad and had a good time and even paid for the damage caused.
A great classic! I miss those days so much!
The scene with the baby was hilarious.
