    Six people were killed and many more injured when Joel Cauchi carried out a stabbing spree at a shopping centre in the Sydney suburb on 13 April. The prime minister, Anthony Albanese, the opposition leader, Peter Dutton, the governor of New South Wales, Margaret Beazley, and the state's premier, Chris Minns, were among those who lit candles.
