How to spend your day? What to do? What to see? Where to go on your day? Here is your Perth itinerary for the day.
This is how I would spend my day in Perth - Scenes from Video
1. Elizabeth Quay - you can start your day for coffee and breakfast here. If you are a late starter then you can have lunch at The Island - www.theislandeq.com.au. For further information on Elizabeth Quay visit developmentwa.com.au/projects....
3. Kings Park - situated just a few minutes away from the central CBD - this is a magnificent sanctuary providing vast expands of rolling greens and natural bushland - you can easily spend a day here, have a stroll, picnic, discover the many plants the botanic garden has to offer - the park is absolutely free. How to get here, you can catch the free bus running regularly from the centre of the CBD. for further information visit www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/kings-park....
4. Cathedral Square - admire the beautiful St Georges Cathedral and the Treasury Building - you will also find the The Como Hotel here.
4. London Court - this is by far the most photographed lane way/arcade in Perth - for further information visit londoncourt.com.au
5. Wolf Lane - walk the colourful and vibrant laneway- you will find shops, cafes and bars around here.
6. Shafto Lane - also popular among locals - you will find restaurants and bars here.
7. Perth Royal Hotel - Lunch - this is very popular amongst locals so bookings are essential - for further information visit www.theroyalhotelperth.com.au
8. Murray Street Mall - for much needed shopping - you can also head to Hay Street Mall - which is by the London Court entry.
9. Matagarup Bridge - it will provide you with adventure and a dose of adrenalin - you can book your zip lining and/ or bridge climbing here. For further information visit the website. www.zipclimb.com.au

You can really see why Perth was voted the most family friendly city in Australia. Clean sharp and very well laid out and you even captured the iconic London Crt. Beautifully presented, very nicely done.

My advice... South Perth by ferry. Go by boat to Fremantle to see the river. Take a wine cruise into the Swan Valley. Hire a bike and ride around the main Perth water, but down to Perth Stadium in one direction and through past UWA and Matilda Bay in the other direction. Spend time in Kings Park (war memorial, botanical gardens there)... City Beach (7km west of Perth), Cottesloe Beach (train and walk), Scarborough beach (990 bus)., Hillarys boat harbour, Fremantle via train, Rottnest Island... if winter visit the hills... Take the chance to go into the south west...

In the 1970's I hustled those streets of Perth selling Royal typewriters for a living. But, life in the City was much simpler then.

Lived there for a full year 4 years back. Beautiful, clean, safe and the absolute best weather and beaches ever. So much to like. My only small complaint was the food and value for $ dining out overall. If you are a foodie, Perth is not the city for you. Food scene in general is mediocre at best and pricey. We tried all the best restos, markets, food trucks etc. Just ok on the food and dining side. Perhaps better now.

Yes..there are days when it can get very hot but it is still bareable as the heat is dry and not humid so you don"t sweat. Also you can always cool down in the beautiful beaches around Perth❤️❤️❤️
Can be VERY hot, up to 40 degrees Celsius (104F?). Summer average is around 32C (90F). My son-in-law was brought up in Ireland. He loves the summer here. He says it's such a pleasant change from the persistent cold and damp of Ireland.
