Cook is one of the best Characters in Skins. He is so complex. Even though he act as if he doesn't care deep down he really does. Cook cares about people. I love how he learns to stop blaming people for his mistakes and take responsibility. Such awesome character development.
Josefine Lea not true at all to the last part if u ever watch menace to society Cain is the main character and he never changes. He lives his entire life doing nothing but bad and selfish things until he's eventually shot to death. He acts like he's gonna change but he ultimately just stays the same. There's no character development there at all.
Critical Entertainment yeah at the end of season two they got really close. Cassie was the one that took care of him when he was on the verge of death.
I feel like gen2 was too focused on the Effy drama and didn't explore the minor relationships enough. Cook's friendship with Naomi and Pandora was so interesting, and it was left aside so much.
pandora cheated on thomas w cook multiple times and said nothin of it until cook did and at least thomas confessed and like everyone is givin him crap and thats hypocritical as heck man
I love Cook so much u could just see at 13:03 that he stopped and then walked again and put this mask on like he wants everybody to hate him...I love him so much
@@davethelad100 Late reply, but I just rewatched the entire series of Skins US during Christmas 2020 after not watching it since like high school back in 2014, and I won't lie, the soundtracks for the show were pretty good imo.
Cook is self destructing and it's really great what Freddie said telling him to stop. If I'm being honest I find Effy rather a drama queen, how she plays the whole "I'm fucked up", "I'm a loose unit", "my whole life is fucked", "I'm off the rails" etc. I mean yeah it wasn't nice at her parents divorced but that's life shit happens and even before that had happened she was still feeling sorry for herself and being a primmadonna.
Niamh Joy I never thought of effy as overdramatic or a primadonna. She is kind of selfish but still my favorite character. She's done some messed up things but 27th her parents getting divorced and them fighting really bad in front of her and catching her mom cheating on her dad I can see how it messed with her head. She shouldn't of had to see it. But I digress. Hard times aren't an excuse for acting like a shitty person. But she's still one of my favorite characters.
yes but he's implementing his disastrous behavior onto his brother, and he sees that. he realizes all his hatred is being passed on to him and he can't stand it, so he decides to face reality and separate himself from his brother and plead guilty.
the marlan quote "whats eating you? what are you rebbeling against?" "what do ya got" brilliant. shows just how intelligent cook actually is. I didn't particularly like season 3 and 4, but I loved cools character, its a shame the other characters were nowehere near as well written.
After watching this episode...Cook is one of my favorite characters...even though he hides how he truly feels he is one o the most truthful real world characters in all of Skins
I love naomi, but it kinda pissed me off that she knew she was involved and so did em and thomas. They let cook take the wrap for everything. I know Effy said she loved Freddy but I also thought she really loved cook.
+cylynt symphonies Nah, she didn't love Cook. She loved sex with Cook. There's a difference. With him, things were mindless, there was no emotion...just sex. It was what she thought she needed in order to avoid the harsh reality that she was falling in love with Freddie..which freaked her out because she's never known or been in a functional relationship.
its interesting how in this generation the directors actually focused on each of the characters for their own episodes while in gen 1 they focused more on how the were in a group
37:10 is the moment that I really started to care about Cook, his entire tough guy facade faded and the breakdown is beautiful. Of course his anger built back up and he admitted he was guilty, but this whole episode really deepened his character for me, though I can never decide who I love more, Chris or Cook. 😍😍
i knew from the first time i watched cook that he was more complex than he seemed. he seemed to always be going and never allowing himself to relax and show emotion. this is why. he never felt cared for. he never felt loved. i really feel for cook.
I was just thinking about this and noticed that one of the girls in an episode last season (I think) had a girl named "Kat" in her phone. Unless that meant Katie, at least they added one name. But, yeah, it bugs me too. To be fair though I only ever have about 10 contacts in my phone too.

Very true
I agree omg c:
***** So do I
+bmxo Everyone thinks he's good looking

cook and naomi remind me of chris and cassie's friendship :)
Did Chris and Cassie have a real friendship? I don't really remember.
Critical Entertainment yeah at the end of season two they got really close. Cassie was the one that took care of him when he was on the verge of death.
Audrey Atwell Oh ok. Now i remember.
Ayan Ali Chris was the first character I cried for in skins 😥
pop rocks horse same ):
I feel like gen2 was too focused on the Effy drama and didn't explore the minor relationships enough. Cook's friendship with Naomi and Pandora was so interesting, and it was left aside so much.
Well she is the central character...
pandora cheated on thomas w cook multiple times and said nothin of it until cook did and at least thomas confessed and like everyone is givin him crap and thats hypocritical as heck man
fr
shes a hipocrit lmfao she needs to realize her mistake first
RIGHT.I hate her
Girls can do no wrong in this world
I think when Cook was with his brother and heard him swear like him, he realised how poisonous he was
I want to see Tony come into the picture to visit his sister...
Geno. Vive. Im too wishing it for
You're a little late
SAME SAME SAME SAME
Okay but Cook and his brother have a cute relationship
So Freddie did cooks mum and cook did Freddie's sister ... They're even
I really wouldn't call it "did". What actually happened is that she just sucked him off.
FRL
you know when you hate a character in a series sooo damn much, then they are really well acted
I really fucking hated Cook in season 3, but I absolutely adore him now.
Cook is so fucking dynamic like he never makes me bored.
"I love someone..."
"You and me both, girl...you and me both."
Cook and his little brother (?) are so cute, it made my heart melt. It's like whenever Cook is alone with someone, he's a sweet heart
I love Cook so much u could just see at 13:03 that he stopped and then walked again and put this mask on like he wants everybody to hate him...I love him so much
Maria Nkanu he is such a misunderstood person. It's incredible how strong he is.
Right
Cook's life is like cassie's, but they canalize their emotions differently.
im just realizing that Cook is so much like Chris omg
pretty sure he gets Chris' old room too it says "Chris loves 🐟" on the wall
when cook is crying i am crying, cant help it
same he reminds me of myself
Naomi is definitely the prettiest. She is striking and has gorgeous eyes.
this show has such good music
Look at it in Netflix... Music makes you feel youre watchin skins US
do you know what song is on minute 6:00?
@@santosdiazingridabril3215 The Clash - Police and Thieves
I Shazam'd it on Snapchat. :)

she has depression it's not about the situation its how she feels

Niamh Joy with*
one week= 4 seasons. don't know if I'm proud of it haha xD
4 days 4 seasons 😂
You seriously need a high-five for that * virtual highfive* xD
I thought I'm the only one who is still watching 😂✋ but god I love skins
OMG same here! Well.. I think skins have a bad influence on me xD but yah..
right? I realised how boring my life is 😂
31:18 - kinda love it that Cook's teaching to his brother all this stuff :D :)
yes but he's implementing his disastrous behavior onto his brother, and he sees that. he realizes all his hatred is being passed on to him and he can't stand it, so he decides to face reality and separate himself from his brother and plead guilty.
still miss the intro of generation 1
Noor E. Same, something special to it ✨
that police woman looks like jal omg
I just realized that's Thoros of Myr...and that joke about Angelina lol...Jack starred in her movie 4 years after Skins :D
explain plz? :D
The guy at 35:40 plays thoros of myr on game of thrones. And Jack who plays Cook acted in an Angelina Jolie movie 4 years after this show ended.
There's two things I always think about when I'm watching Skins; It makes UK seem so exciting and my life seem so boring. D:
the marlan quote "whats eating you? what are you rebbeling against?"
"what do ya got"
brilliant. shows just how intelligent cook actually is.
I didn't particularly like season 3 and 4, but I loved cools character, its a shame the other characters were nowehere near as well written.
Eamon o'reilly this is the best gen
"TELL THEM TO PISS OFF!" Even though he was yelling for his brother, I couldn't help but laugh at how cute that was.
cook's honestly the best character
why would you think that?
I actually always thought Naomi and Cook would be the best together tbh
Probably what hurt the most and made cooks story sadder is that his little brother will never see him again for very long or often.
although they were inexperienced all of the people on skins were such good actors
"HD"
After watching this episode...Cook is one of my favorite characters...even though he hides how he truly feels he is one o the most truthful real world characters in all of Skins
He really messed up his lil bro lol
I love naomi, but it kinda pissed me off that she knew she was involved and so did em and thomas. They let cook take the wrap for everything. I know Effy said she loved Freddy but I also thought she really loved cook.

I feel like cook is bipolar, there isn't an episode where he doesn't beat the shit out of someone
+Autumn Heath I know this comment is old but he isn't bipolar fighting is more of his way of acting out. He see's red and just goes.
Autumn Heath He doesn't have depressive episodes, just mania.
I have bipolar and I've never beaten the shit out of someone...
Autumn Heath there's more than one disorder that has violent episodes!!!! ( I'm bipolar so I'm also kinda offended @ your comment SMH)
Milly Rodríguez oh the irony...
you're the man for uploading the full episode in 1 video
its interesting how in this generation the directors actually focused on each of the characters for their own episodes while in gen 1 they focused more on how the were in a group
One of my favorite episodes, ever.
37:10 is the moment that I really started to care about Cook, his entire tough guy facade faded and the breakdown is beautiful. Of course his anger built back up and he admitted he was guilty, but this whole episode really deepened his character for me, though I can never decide who I love more, Chris or Cook. 😍😍
i love that cook doesnt care about his well being but wears a seatbelt always
I love cook in this episode
they didn't tape the damn cord to the floor and then had the audacity to get angry when cook tripped??????
Idk where I'd be without Skins. It's showed me so much about life. Thank you.
This episode really helped me understand Cook.
i knew from the first time i watched cook that he was more complex than he seemed. he seemed to always be going and never allowing himself to relax and show emotion. this is why. he never felt cared for. he never felt loved. i really feel for cook.
AND LIKE EVERYONE IS GOING ''POOR PANDORA'' LIKE OMFG SHE'S A FUCKING CHEATER TOO.
ok so whats with having just the cast in your contact list :/
I was just thinking about this and noticed that one of the girls in an episode last season (I think) had a girl named "Kat" in her phone. Unless that meant Katie, at least they added one name. But, yeah, it bugs me too. To be fair though I only ever have about 10 contacts in my phone too.
and here, we get to see the fragile side of cook
Jack is such a good actor.. the yall are, but the way He can show emotion.. I fucking cry to.
OMG THEY PLAY LETS GO SURFING BY THE DRUMS !
FINALLY Cook does something good.
Cook is the best kid ever how dare you
IKR!!!!!!!! :)
Effy is so perfect in the way she looks. When you meet her she's D: but if you looked at her from afar it's like she's a goddess.
Only the theme song of season 1 will forever be in my mind.
How can you not love cook
Because he's an arse who fucks everyone over?
i really want to love him and see what everyone sees in him but i just cant
i swear this episode completely changed my view on Cook. He actually made me cry.
i didn't like cook the first time i watched this generation, but now my second time around i really love him and i think he's more attractive
I have a love- hate relationship with absolutely every character on this show.
when cook's mom got out of the car at the beginninng she reminded me of cassie because of the sunglasses
Cook and Naomi have such a special secretive bond!!!
There is really something special between Cook and Naomi. And no, it's not a shipping type of thing.
He is by far my favorite
why does pandora give thomas a hard time when he gave her a second chance?? i think its wrong that she wont forgive him!
this. Pandora cheated on thomas and yet thomas forgive her while she, she cant event forgive thomas lmao. now she felt the beeling of being betrayed.
Hey, it's the evil uncle from Royals!
Pandora is so annoying i wonder why people even pitied her from being cheated when she’s the one who cheats on thomas in the first place
this is my favourite episode from this season
jack is such an amazing actor! way better than any other actor in the series
i still miss generation 1
I think the character growth in this episode is awesome.
didnt realize how beautiful cook's eyes were until this episode
Effy and cook forever like seriously 😂❤️❤️
Hearing Cook's problems makes mine look so so insignificant ...
ugh I love Cook, can't help it lol
now I know why Cook is the way he is, and I love him♥
cook has grown so much over this series
Whenever I see blood in the earlier series, I can only think of Grace.
JJ's so cute :3 ive loved him since the beginning
he looks absolutely stunning the whole time.
I love the accent of the twins
wait who did cook live with before ? he said he doesnt have a home. so he like lives on the street?
Is it just me...or does Cook look hotter than ever in this episode
ya kno when cook is not fighting or yelling and relaxes his face, he's pretty attractive
Am I the only who notices that they only have each other as contacts in their cell phones.
It broke my heart when cook started crying :c
The relationship between cook and his brother is adorable
his little brother broke my darn heart😢💔
little cook is adorable & cook is so fucked up mentally that it makes me slightly attracted to him.
Cook with his brother warms my heart.
it's rare seeing cook without any bruises
It’s so sad...cook took the blame for Naomi....after al theta went through with each other and what he went through by himself...it’s so sad 🥺
wears his watch on his ankle, just like Cas
Super neat how joy from house of Anubis plays Freddy’s sister and then mr sweetie is the judge Britain is small as fuch
Excellent quality thank you!
I think Cook is cute and likable.
Am i the only one who is attracted to cook no matter how much blood he has on his face or how drunk he is ?
when i hav nothing to do, skins. when i hav plenty of shit to do, skins. yeeep, soml ^_^
Ace Of Spades! that was in the other Cook-episode as well
paddy is soooooo cute!!!
18:39 and then Jack got the chance to work with Angelina
holy i wouldn't have noticed that LOL!!!!
