Malasada bites, what a great concept. Who wouldn't like these bite size deliciousness . Thank you, Nancy, for this great idea and for sharing your recipe with us.❤️🤗
Hi Nancy. My husband is Portuguese. I am not. But I am trying to learn some of the dishes that he enjoys. I see you use a regular tablespoon from the kitchen drawer. I'm afraid if I use that for all of the dry ingredients that the malasada bites will be off. Could you be a little more specific about measuring those ingredients? For instance is it a heaping tablespoon or a level tablespoon? And would you guess that your tablespoon is the equivalent to two measuring tablespoons? Any help you could offer would be appreciated Thank you so much.
Hi there. Thank you for your question. For this recipe I used a level tablespoon. (For this particular recipe - I used a soup eating tablespoon for the butter) Baking measuring tablespoon is 15ml. It would be more or less the same. (if it was a heaping tablespoon - then the measurement would be more like 18ml). I hope this helps. Feel free to email me with any questions at diywithnancyg@mail.com. Thank you😊
