Why is it illegal, is the government admitting that they believe in its power?

Was banned from the days of Britain colonialism when the Maroons used it to defeat the British government despite being outnumbered 20 to 1.

All these West African traditions in the Caribbean should be respected and studied . We can learn a lot about our connectivity to the earth and perhaps experience a greater “Oneness” with the planet that birth us all. Therefore, instead of fear , let’s explore !

Real ting dis mon. It's no joke foreal. I messed with vudu one time and had a fever dream where I was visited by my lost grandmother. She told me not to cry anymore. I woke up drenched in sweat, sheets halfway across the room and the door to my air b n b in New Orleans wide the fuck open. Long story but obeah and a lot of these cultural things, do something very real to the mind

Dem think a lie! That’s demons they’re evoking, they have to feed them and take care of the demons they call up or else it turn against them. Sometimes those demons require the blood of the practitioner love ones. No joke ting they messing with. The Maroon s used Obeah to defeat the British. The couldn’t wait on the Most High for help so they turned to Satan/spirits/ demons for help because Satan answer your call faster because he’s in competition. They turn to Satan because they say the Most High answer prayers slow.
🤦🏾‍♀️. People are so lost at sea.

its very obvious that its just simple magic ,at its most basic form that is practice in Jamaica ...simple energy enhessment , or simple luck energy enhansment. similar to new Orleans . it lacks structure, wisdom and knowledge ...unlike Haiti and Africa that's stands honorable , rooted and ingrained

There is nothing good about invoking spirits and demons.. Only God can give prosperity and everything good. There is nothing good about obeah. How can something people claim to be good also be used to harm or kill people? Satan is a deceiver and all who fall into this trap without repentance are doomed for destruction..
