This generation Toyota Avalon is my favorite, especially the facelift. With the rise in popularity of SUVs and electric cars, we most likely won’t see a Toyota like this again.
I got a 2011. Bought it in 2017 with about 83000 miles on it. I now have about 140800 miles on it and it still runs like a top. Doesn't burn any oil at all and hasn't lost a bit of power or anything. I agree the last true Avalon and probably one of the last true Toyotas.
I have a base model. Rides like a Mercedes. Suggestion: Make sure to keep debris/leaves out of the vent intakes under the hood. Also, power wash that motor and engine bay from time time.
Just bought a 2011 this morning. I am already absolutely in love with this car, after just driving it for like 2 hours total lol. Comfy, smooth, and on the interstate I got like 32 mpg. It's gonna be a great work commuter.
I have a 2011 Avalon Limited being delivered tomorrow. It has 67k miles and, similar to you, I was like "damn I have to have it." I'm coming from a 2003 Camry LE so this is is hella futuristic to me. While I haven't driven it yet I've done extensive research on Avalons over the last year, and agree that this generation seems to have been the last "Avalon" in that it properly emboldened what you expect of its nameplate. Floaty, smooth, reliable old man car. That said I do think the TRD Avalons are just plain absurd and cool, they're my next target in a few years.
I got a 2006 Avalon Limited that also has rain sensing wipers and cannot complain about anything. 2011-2012 looks nicer on the outside with the LED tail lights but the 2005-2010 does have the radar cruise control option.
Bro i have a 2012 model same color and its the closest thing to a es 350.This has everything only the navigation is dated but everything is still pretty much functional and working .This will last you 300 to 400 k miles. I call this a poor man`s lexus.
It is a great car with two drawbacks. One is the 14.4 cu/ft size truck, a large car comes with a compact truck size, and the other one is the lack of falling down backseats, which limits its usage to haul long stuff. The car only comes with a small hole on the backseat for long items, almost useless.
What a classic car! I loved it, want to have one for myself but only thing that’s not my thing is the leather seats. I know leather is regarded as luxury and mandatory thing for high end versions, I wish this car has non leather options!

I have the same car same color and everything Fuel thank is 18.5 gallons
How much did you pay?
Nice informational video. Also cruise control has radar to detect vehicles and adjust the speed if they are too close.

This is my favorite Avalon, too. It's long and wide and comfy. It handles really well for such a big car.
I have one just like the car in the video. Same color.
I have Avalon 2012 with 35k miles and it’s amazing I love it
One of the best models, I totally agree...
We just got our 2010 Toyota Avalon limited with 102k miles on Wednesday and absolutely love ours very amazing and we have the laser cruise control
I’ve had probably 35 cars. I now drive a 2012 Avalon Limited that I adore, superb vehicle!
A brilliant video. Well done sir. Thank you
