    Dear Sir. You are one of the few who has extremely skilled, knowledgeable and honest. Very polite and a good teacher without any attitude. Unfortunately now days there are many flute trainer/ teachers who does not have the quality of a good guide. They don't understand the importance of inspiration, motivation. With limited knowledge about the swar, sruti they provide training at very low price. This will never help the leaner rather confuse their attempt. If you go to them for guidance, the first readymade thing they comment is that your basic is wrong.your finger position is wrong, your blowing is incorrect immediately before listening him thoroughly. Nothing is impossible. Learners have to keep patience and it takes time. In my opinion there is a difference between music sadhna and Riaz. If follow certain readymade Riaz notation copied from others will help to some extent but it will make you a music player with many limitations. As an artist your creative and innovative quality get hampered. What is your take on this Sir.

    You have wonderful control and make sweet musical choices, thank you for sharing. Is there anything you recommend doing as a beginner to help get the fingers to stretch in order to reach/cover holes more easily/properly? It is quite difficult even with a relatively small bansuri in the key of A at the moment. My fingers are slim, and hands are pretty small

    • @TheLazyClips
      @TheLazyClips Před 2 lety

      i have small hands (like one of the smallest of any man i know) but in 2 months i switched from C bansuri to E base. then firstt 3-6 months i had pain in my hand everyday but now im settled and relaxt, loose muscles but firm grip. So for me it took a while of just forcing and trying and forcing daily for hours on end. But i have small hands and thin fingers. (edit: it was really worth it though really hard on the motivation end in the beginning)

    Hello Guruji. I made a G4 basuri by myself, the problem is the holes are too far away. Is it because of lack of practice that my fingers cudnt reach the 6th hole? The distance between 5th and 6th hole is about 6.5 cm . Is it normal ?? the basuri is 57 cm long and the tuning sounds fine !! And is it a good practice if i use my pinky to close the 6th hole !?
