At the same time they're trying to eliminate jobs using AI and squeeze as much profit as possible. Meanwhile we just had a job report that smashed all expectations, but simultaneously seeing numerous accounts of how many of these jobs are fake.

I don’t eat fast food anymore. It’s been years. We cook everything at home. Everyone really needs to get together and boycott these places that outsource jobs or put ai. If you don’t stick together nothing will change.
Not only is the price going up, but the amount of food your getting is less .
The burgers keep getting smaller, they’re smashed flat in the packaging like they’ve been ran over lmao all for a premium price. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Crimpflation
Just saw a survey here in Denmark. McDonalds burger meal is now 25% less vegetables and 30% more fat and sugar compared to 3 years ago. When price goes up like this it should be more vegetables and more pure meat. They are actually trying to kill their customers. And delivery from McDonalds to your door, the transport is 78% on top of the insane high price for the meal.

Last time I went to McDonald’s they didn’t even have a person at the register. I stood at the register for minutes before someone came to register. They were only wanting orders from their app or the stupid kiosk order thing they have. I wanted to make a verbal order and pay cash and it was like they saw an alien.
Sounds like fast food became slow food.
Going to McDonald's has become like going to the Chum Bucket.
During Covid I was at the counter and was told to stay back away from the counter but when it came time to pay when I tried to pay I had to throw the money to the cashier cause I was so far away. Their rules not mine 😂

Stranger in a Strange Land! I haven't been in a fast food place in a long time (years) and haven't driven through much either, but once every few months I get a fish sandwich from McDonald's by drive-thru. Last time was six months ago at least.
There's no way in hell McDonald's prices increased by only 21%. I live in TX and it's closer to 90%. It's absolutely ridiculous. Went to IHOP the other day and it was $22 for one meal. Luckily, I rarely eat out. Screw that nonsense.
100%!!
Way too much
also in Texas and yes it has almost doubled. 21% is silly.

I fail to understand.
McDonald's food doesn't even taste good or the same anymore. :/
The cheapest quality food should never be this expensive.
Darn right! Michael Bordenaro and his Dad from northern Illinois must really be suffering from the food prices there! Min wage in Illinois is $14 an hour and I’m from the next state up where min wage is shockingly enough still $7.25 ! That is a stark difference and even as a conservative Christian myself, I’m certainly not against people earning a living wage but think these higher min wage laws aren’t necessarily going to solve the problem! I took college credit accounting classes back in high school when I was 15 to 18 years old 7 to 10 years ago, and I know in accounting terms that a higher min wage means employees are more expensive! Increasing labor costs will increase costs overall (aka inflation)! It’s like trying to print your own money by asking for a raise in your state min wage, which Illinois will have another one to $15/hr next year in 2025 ! Already at Arby’s across from where I work at McDonald’s a Greek gyro meal is $9.29 and a Big Mac Large Meal at the McDonald’s I work at costs only 10 cents more; it’s expensive enough here, I agree! I’d love to see how much you pay for your Big Mac Meal in CA Mike! I bet it’ll be too expensive with CA’s $20 min wage for fast food! That’s worse than Illinois where you’re from where Arby’s is over $10 for any meal to feed an adult! How the heck do you have Mission BBQ over there Mike where you’re from? We have Mission BBQ in town just down the highway from where I live in the biggest city in my corner of the next state up from you, and it is almost as expensive, but not quite! It is around $15 for enough barbecue food for one adult, they play the national anthem at noon, and anyone who participates and sings along gets a free chocolate brownie for dessert! So amazing!
@@robertjames6890no idea what you just said bobjim. That was a lot of words and none of it made sense.

FYI everyone
I worked for Hi-tech company in Maryland for 7 years
Most of the employees were H1B visas from India. I was in charge on putting up job postings but it was rigged as they never intended to hire American citizens. The job posting was merely a formality/prerequisite so that the company could claim to the government that they needed to bring in somebody on an H1B visa since there were “no qualified candidates” in this country (they never bothered to look at resumes from American citizens).
Companies that keep doing this may find themselves the target of people who are tired of being yanked around over and over after finding out the jobs they applied for didn't exist at all. That may finally make these companies take down fake postings.
Agreed! Happens in every state. Disgusting!

Our economy is afflicted by uncertainty, housing troubles, foreclosures, global shifts, and the aftermath of the epidemic, all of which contribute to instability. To restore stability and drive growth, all sectors must urgently address rising inflation, slowing GDP, and trade disruptions.

A lot of job positions are already filled by the time they are posted because the companies have a policy of having to post every opening, even though they have an internal candidate already to slide into that role. Lots of the roles "went in another direction" meaning they decided not to fill it. I was out of work 9 months, getting ghosted constantly after the first or second interview. I'm most cases, you are right, the recruiters are just building their sales list, because they are sales people first, recruiters second. Many jobs were posted across multiple recruiters. I had a position for a remote job on my team open up earlier this year. You had to live in one of 36 states to be eligible to take the job. Fake job postings are not new... 30 years ago I decided to try to go back to work and I was applying at all these places for part-time work and they all told me the same thing we have to post that we're hiring The government insists that you post your hiring but we really have no openings. It's an old ploy to keep the government happy but there are no jobs.
Happened to me for county tech jobs.. in many states... i clearly have the experience, and there is nobody in town who repairs tech
They have file cabinets full of applicants to cow their current workers.
Never heard of that! Definitely first!
@@dertythegroweropen your own business and go mobile!
Interesting. So, the government makes companies post jobs even though there isn’t one. I would understand if this had to done before hiring, but I suspect it is done to give the illusion that there are plenty of jobs and they can put the number into their charts.
Love Dad old school. Coke , McDonalds used Covid to increase pricing. Look at the price of a 12ct of coke up over 50%. To heck with their Corn Syrup
The app is also a setup for getting rid of the cashiers (drive-thru and front)
Exactly. Support jobs and don’t use apps.
So true about data collection in job searches. Every time I’ve even searched for jobs I’ve been inundated with spam.
More job listing = more data mining.
🤗
I love seeing you and your Dad on a walk together.
I would rather eat a can of soup than go to McDonald's. 😂😂😂
Sodium. Eat fresh, but I feel ya.
@maxwolf8055 anything is better than McDonald's!
I can make a luxurious quick meal that's 100 times better. Avacado toast, for example. A freagin STEAK (just broil 10 mins each side...).
Fast food is a NO for me too!
Yah, watch that sodium. Frozen meals at the supermarket are pretty bad also, and they don't taste that great.
I'm sure your Dad remembers when dollar stores used to be "Five and Dimes" and when they changed over people thought the same thing. Soon it will be "Everything is $20" bargain stores.
Gotta love your Dad. Great to see!
I've sent so many resumes out it's painful. I rarely hear a word back from any of them.
Glad that's your dad. I was beginning to think you had the cops shadowing you 😂
Oh the Biden regime has him on a list for spitting truth for sure.
Speaking of fake job postings. I applied to an uncountable number of jobs during the GFC. One of them wanted a credit report. Talk about a scam job posting. Watch for those postings and don't send any financial info to any posting requiring it as part of the process. Real companies can submit for that info after you interview and are offered a job. Scams will increase as the economy goes to shhhh.
I had MCdonald 2 months ago and the food didn't taste good. Research Mcdonald's on youtube.
The double cheeseburger didn't taste good, nor did the fries , .
We been eating at home and it's healthier .
This week I got two burritos at Taco Bell, a burrito supreme and a bean burrito. Both of them were terrible. I don't know how Taco Bell sells that garbage.
I agree. I used to be a fan of the Big Mac but the last few I have had were terrible and they were crazy expensive. I would rather go to costco and get a steak.
@aaronswinger7026
Well if you pay people garbage wages expect them to produce garbage food.
I don't know what they're doing to them, but the other day I had 2 McDoubles and later that day I felt so tired I wound up taking a nap and felt groggy the rest of the day. I seriously think it was the McDoubles.
The value meals are another avenue for shrinkflation. They're going to make these special menu items microscopic. Then they'll come back and say "We hear you, people love this. We'll keep it!" And shrink menu items across the board. Then later they'll raise prices.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
If they try to shrink the quarter-pounder, there will be lawsuits.
@@Seafarer62 A quarter pounder is by pre-cooked weight.
We could just replace CEOs with AI too since AI is particularly good at making decisions apparently and that's what CEOs do all the time
Reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode where the factory manager replaced everybody with machines. And he was eventually replaced by a machine.
You re right, replace CEO by AI save lots of money,as their salary and bonuses way too higher
Nice tribute Mr Dore. RIP king Kev, a true Legend and Gentleman. It was always a treat to see him on this channel. Deepest condolences to his family, he will be missed
Always entertained by your content, it's awesome!
He Diane.
This is a huge example where government gets involved and raises wages artificially then corporations do whatever is needed as a work around, such as having g someone in a foreign country to take your order.
This reduces corporations costs and eliminates U.S. jobs. Thank you Mr. Government. Just a big shell game and Americans pay the cost. Sick of it.
If these restaurants keep going down the road they are going then I expect to see a lot of them go under. Even the corporate chain ones. The days of gouging Americans is coming to an end.
Too many can't afford it. The writing is on the wall.
ITs not just fast food.......it's all corps!
They won’t care it was all a way to get prime real estate.
Your Dad is wonderful. He looks like a really good guy. He must be, he raised you very well. We are looking forward to your Cali trip. Kelly from San Diego.
All these fast food companies can fall.
Last I checked , that’s how capitalism works , your horrible and your customers will help you figure it out… really fast 😂
Agree... I would not miss them.
@@craigdurso3005 you think monopolies are a good thing to have? That doesn't sound like a free market
Big chain stores have ruined many good mom and pops. Once enough of the cash flow disappears you get stuck with fewer choices and then the controllers cut quality and raise prices. Really miss some of the old locally owned establishments.
@@googleuser868 I think it's more about crony capitalism and people being stupid on their choices.
Being a old timer, we had a fast food restaurant by the name of Bob's in the late 60s and early 70s the hamburgers cost .19 cents each.
Eating unhealthy is definitely a part of it but another big thing is that we drive everywhere. I noticed when I went to Europe everybody there just walks. The women are extremely fit and hot
Their cities are tiny compared to most major American cities in developed land area. We have to drive.
True especially in poland
I just read from a friend of mine on Facebook that she went to Chili’s today. Six chicken tenders were $19.99 and a burger was $22.00. Yep! Expensive!
I went to whataburger in Texas, 2 large fries, and 2 drinks $14. Outrageous
Trust me, I'm never paying that, and by the way, they're helping me lose much weight, and into my prime like before. It's been nearly 20 years since I got a mcdonald or a bk.
Time to get back into fit. See ya.
Whataburger is the only fast food I eat, mostly for the burgers 🍔 & ice tea🍵.
Even when the Economy was good Whataburger has always been an expensive place to eat.
@CCJ1998 I'll keep eating there. However, I'll skip the fries & bring my own drink. 🍔 👍 ... 🍟 👎
The only time I eat at Whataburger is when I receive a coupon in the mail. I actually like Whataburger, but it's a no-go zone for me without the coupon.
SoCal McDonald’s receipt today: 2 combos, 1 happy meal, and a 10pc cost $37.77
😮
did rotten ronnie at least wear a rubber when he bent you over like dat?
@@Scriptorsilentum haha nice one 🥹
Thanks Michael for shaing your family with us.
Great to see you with your dad. The last time that I ate at McDonald's was in 1972 while in college. That was enough for me to know that is was junk.
Today the money is in collecting and then selling personal data.
I been driving a Semi Truck for 15 years I have all endorsements never been in accident no tickets just recently I moved states and been applying for jobs like crazy especially ones that says recently posted and let me tell you something not one of them have called me back let alone retuning an email messages that I was sending, 3 or 4 years ago I was begged to drive for most reputable companies out there! It’s unbelievable! These jobs must be fake or can someone explain to me what’s happening! Also, after applying for these jobs and giving my email out , now I get crap tone of spam emails and phone calls!
@amargacanica1042
Maybe your not the right color. DEI hires are all the rage right now.
@@OIllllO very possible I was with FedEx freight in Texas and they were big on DEI! Not to mention things got little crazy, drivers wrecking tractors and trailers left and right it was pretty funny!
@@amargacanica1042
Yep even airlines will pick color over experience and qualifications if they need to meet a quota.
"Attention all passengers today we didn't pick the most qualified pilot but we support diversity"
So, the Dollar Menu disappeared, now a $1 McDouble is $2.49-$2.99
Same for the $1 McChicken…
They jacked the prices way up high on everyone.
I'm really annoyed with the fake job listing's
I think youre right about companies taking your data from your application. They are getting free info to sell while never having a real job in the first place. And your resume has some of the most sensitive info
And now many fast food places are asking for tips ❗🤣
After you've worked for free entering your own order at the kiosk! Yeah, not happening. Not using their kiosk either , personally I refuse to use any self-checkout.
You're kidding? 😮
@@lucialuciferion6720recently went to taco hell for some guilty-pleasure bean burritos. I asked, can I just give my order to you? Nope…must use the kiosk. So, no burritos for me!
@@marknewton6984The tips you mean? I see it everywhere. Burger at Burger 21? Asks for a tip. Small sandwich shop in the neighborhood? Tip? Nope.
A Google job search has been rendered useless by all the fake job postings. Jobs that don't exist, jobs that are in a different city, one job that has been duplicated in ten different listings. It's ridiculous.
Dad looks like he’s ready to kick someone’s ass 😂 better stay on your Ps and Qs
Hey Michael, always nice to tune in with you. Hoping everything went well with your sister's wedding, how exciting! Sending love your way, so happy to see you side by side with dad, adds just a little more 'special'❤
I'm in the UK, mcdonalds has gone up in price ,it was overpriced crap to start with, and now its better going to the pub for a bar meal. And mcdonalds don't sell beer😂
Mr. Bordenaro, you must be very proud of Michael. You had a smart boy and obviously raised him well.
His dad is the real-deal,all bull,no bullshit
I worked for an American company told me to do nothing all day, they got tax breaks by employing me,from government.
Apple, Google, or Facebook?
Sounds bad ass, how can I get this job?
Proverbs 24:33-34
33 A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest;
34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.
Alot of these companies sell your data.
Thx for taking me on a walk - always enjoy your view on current news - cheers from Germany 👍🇩🇪
My wife asked the counter lady at McDonalds if they were still serving breakfast (at 11:00 AM) and she replied, "Hell, No!" LOL.
They stopped that a while ago. Pancakes are available I think, but that's about it.
Hey Michael, I live in Cherry Valley and was married at the Baumann Park gazebo 30 years ago. We walk there a few times a week. Cool seeing this video with your dad.
Hi Michael! It’s so nice to see your dad walking with you, “pops”❤️❤️❤️
AI. More Garbage In = Garbage Out. I cut my McJunk back to one Sausage McMuffin with Egg daily. I used to do two. It's not the money, it's the 10 eggs a week and the fake cheese that turned me away. Regular lunch (not junk) and no dinner. Doing this pattern (with two) saw me lose about 80 pounds over a few years. If there was fast clean food, I'd buy it.
Enjoy your Dad, I wish still had mine.
Me too ❤
Same here
Yes, me also. ❤
Same
I applied for a job for the first time in about 14 years after moving across the country. I fell down that whole recruiter rabbit hole; My email box blew up with scores of emails. When I finally realized what was going on, I just started applying directly to companies and had a job in no time. It took a couple of months to get rid of the fake job bots and emails.
Im all in and for AI if we could eventually replace all lawyers and realtors with it. 😂😂😂
@Resmith18SR
AI will be replacing people like machines did during the industrial revolution. If you think your job is safe you're probably wrong.
