Dover/Turnbull traction elevator - The Bay Downtown Ottawa

Nice, older Turnbull elevators at The Bay in Downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Current fixtures likely date back to the early 70's, but that elevating license # is from the 40's.

In Ontario, Canada, do the certificates list the year installed? Or can you get a rough idea of when an elevator was installed by looking at the elevator ID number?

+upanddownadventures For the most part, you can guess by the ID number. I've seen some oddball ones that don't make sense, but 9 times out of 10 it's accurate.
