I had a crush with someone. We knew each other thru an online competition, and being friends since then. We never meet irl because although we're both living in the same country, we live in a different island.
He's calm, smart, mature, got some humor, and comfortable to talk to. I couldn't help myself but fall for him. 5 months ago, I found out that we're not having the same religion (fyi, i didn't straightly ask him abt his religion. I figured it out thru his social media). All my life, i've been thaught to have a lover with the same religion as mine. At that time, I knew that I should stop and give up. But giving up isn't that easy either. That's why we still contact each other. I can't keep my feelings longer, but the guilt kills me. This week, I've made up my mind. I decided to let him go and forget abt him. I deleted all of our history chat, blocked him, and unfollow him on social media. It's over. But it's funny how I cried so hard after that even tho I never meet him irl. I'm sad, but I'm not going to regret my decision because I knew that this is the right choice.
