He'd have to get a million pound plus insurance policy to be allowed to transport customer cars. Having a policy like that is super expensive per year.

Back in the mid 2000s the trick racing teams went to Santa Pod, first runs were pretty slow with the tricks getting bogged down, they had to reprogram the ECU several times until they got it right and the flew down the strip.
If you switched to manual and switched off the traction control you might have done better, but you'd be even better with a straight manual which the truck racers have👍

Could be the Transmission needing a remap to help the engine itself put the power to the rear axle (ask if it has a Highspeed diff) if it has a HS Diff then should be good

The Magnum is probably powered by a Mack E9 V8, backed by an 18 speed MANUAL transmission.
- Even a high power truck is low on horsepower, but high on torque.
To launch an empty tractor, you must start in the highest gear possible, without stalling the engine.
I have out accelerated many cars with Scania V8 tractors.
- Also the EU mandated speed governor doesn’t help..
