Bob'n for hotrods , on Easter eve....man she's lookin' good
Hey Bob , that ' 34 is sick !! Great job!
Thanks for sharing with us today.
Hey Bob, you should look into getting one of those handheld lasers to help take rust and other junk off of metal quickly. The engine is looking good!
It's going to be a nice coupe no doubts about that.what a year so far 2024 looking good.
It's going to be nice Mr . Bob it should move rite along with the 429 and a fiberglass body I'll be here watching you to the finish keep up the great work

That ratchet strap idea sounds like a great one 👍 I’m going to use that one for sure 🤔
Ass kicking video as usual ....Keep up the good work Bob ....love it !!!
112” wheelbase Bob. It’s looking great keep up the good work!!
Positive thing about using a Ford engine is the distributor is in the front and doesn't interfere with firewall👍 the negative is the annoying neighbor 😅 when he leaned over need to stick some flowers in the vase
You are going to be snappin like a big dog with that 429, I'm diggin it Bawb. Hey to Red.
33:55 Great progress. Would be cool to see all your rat rods in the same place at one time. That would be some killer content there. Hello from Colorado
I didn't know Bob was recording. But that's the way I work, If I can help, I do. As far as my pants, there are not sleep pants. I broke my back two times. So I'm always in shorts. I just put them Pants on. Over my shorts. But it's going to be a cool car. I will help Red and Bob whenever they need.
My nephew turned me on to industrial easyoff and it works great for grease
Yes Sir!!!
I'm diggin it Bob
Me gusta como va todo, y me gusta ver que esta Westley, y hasta tu vecino Bob, es bueno estar acompañado tambien... y ese auto plastico, comienza a tomar un buen sabor!!!
I put in a Ford 460 big block in my 34
Man I'm loving this build unc!!
Your neighbor Geff is a lot like me. Always have a solution to an problems no matter what 😅😂😅😂 looks like you have your work cut out for you.

Butter cup would be a cool name for the yellow beast.
Thanks Bob. Inspire you do. Cool cool.
Here we go again. I love that you give us a little memory of the last build. I am in love with that Mochine.
This one will be another masterpiece I am sure.
Watching a master at work is awesome therapy at, this time in space. LOL. Thanks Bob.
The piece of tubing through the frame is definitely the way to go! This 34 with the 429 , C6 is really cool Bob. Can't wait to hear that big block rumble. Really like your builds ! PEACE ✌️
Going to be really cool when done , really enjoy watching you build videos

Looks like it's guna be a great build, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Not his pajamas. Lounge pants.
Looking good awesome videos
As this car starts coming together, its looking uncannily like the cartoon '34 Coupe that I created for our club logo! Same stance, big block engine, gasser spokes up front...seeing my artwork coming to life!
21:56 I would DEFINITELY do the "tube through frame" mod rather than that tab. Especially with that big heavy, torquey 429 between the rails.
Obits nice to have friends that help ya out in these days it,s rare to see looking cooooool man ya got this made the way ya want take the rest of the Day off with pay have a beer on me from Canada 🇨🇦 Sk later Bob p.s. we're,s the crew day off ?
The BBF looks great sitting in there. As you say you need some stiffness in the front suspension with that big chunk of iron sitting there. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
I think you have the perfect engine placement as it fits the gasser vibe you are creating. Setting back the engine was common for improving performance. This is a big powerful engine and I think it would benefit from the setback that you have it sitting at right now. You can build a metal firewall that encases the engine and separates it from the dash. I still love the eye candy gasser wheels. Man they look good with that drilled and dropped axel. This will be one wild car. And as a 34 it will have suicide doors which is a plus for the engine setback. I love watching what you are doing with this car.
Looks good to me. A Ford in a Ford!
Bolt the hairpins mount through the frame looks the best!!
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Much Good Job ❤❤❤❤❤
She’s gonna move out good!
I like it.
Thanks guy's....
Shoe🇺🇸
Hey Bawb,
Something you may be over looking, that 34 radiator has a real slant backwards.
From my perspective that body is going to need more backwards relocating which would be good for the firewall.
As is, your rear most exhaust port is really into the cowl area.
You may be building block hugger headers.
You are right about that hairpin location needing to be higher.
It just don't look right with that tab hangin down.
See ya nex time
That’s a REAL rat engine!
Nice to see a new build, the Thunder coupe
It’s going to be another sweet ride good job, Bob
I'm diggin it Bob. Nice job.
Your car is coming along nicely thanks for sharing 😀👍
all I can say is AWESOME, You and Red enjoy your Easter weekend
This is a great build,cant wait !
Looking great Bob

Looking good BoB,
Hello from Missouri
Another good one Bob 👍👍
Lookin sharp Bob 👍
Mounting those hairpins in the center of the frame rail will look bitchin' Bob 👍
Lots of patience reassembling the front axle ! Looking forward to more !
Looking forward to this build.
Yes, on the suspension bolt through the frame. Will look 100% better.
One of my dream cars Ford all the way sweet ride Bob
Yep. Raise them thar hairpins. Damn that outro clip is COOL!
Definitely a BIG Motor Bob Looks Great so far and Wesley good help Dan Happy Easter 🐣
Bob, nice to see you installing a Ford engine in your Ford. So much of that Chevy powered Ford crap these days that I never give a second look. I look forward to seeing her on the road.
It's going to be awesome bob
Bob, yes indeed it’s going to be great!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Wow Bob! Your builds just keep getting better and better. Awesome stuff.
I've been with ya since you built the Big Block Chevy military truck from when you had about 4000 subscribers.
Haven't checked in for a while because I've been on a mission with my build.
1934 Ford is my favorite of all the Model A line. Go big or go home!
Looking forward as always and thanks for the inspiration.
Have a Blessed Easter! He is risen.
I love them lights
Mr. Rat Rod Bob what ever happened to that awesome ford falcon you built that was awesome car your craftmenship on your project's are A pluse love all your videos true American.
Thunder jet gill flerted that spring when in dought ask Red.
Hey Bob looks like old Red would love the fact your using a big block in this one. It would be cool to hear his thoughts.
Lookin good, little bit more figuring and you’ll have it 👍👍
I like.
If that’s not the sexiest model ever ( maybe a 33 Plymouth coupe rival) I’d almost give up my first born
You gettin it Boss you Just ain't got it yet. Lookin good
It's nice to have friends
That is going to be one sweet cruiser, I would give Elec header cut offs with tail pipes out the back make the ride comfortable, Even air conditioning would not be out the question cause that would be a car I would like to drive a lot
Hey, Bob i used trans-dapt engine and trans cross member kit for a 50's F-1 460 conversion that worked out great for me. They're pretty economical and easy to modify....and on moving the wishbone links, you might end up watching your caster when moving those..............😎😎
Wish I knew more about doing this up close. Never had a mig so everything done with a stick welder. I like it and of course its a ford so a ford engine just seems right. Now most of the time I was working on the dirt so took trailer spindles and put them on the end of the lift where the pump was/is and of course not good at explaining myself. I did the spindle thing so I could push my hoist around on the dirt.... and of course that evolved into putting a boat trailer tongue on the top so I could take it out to the woods and pull a engine out and just come home with that... then my neighbors seen my mobile engine puller and always wanting to borrow it. They had it when I needed it.... so never loan tools, found out their promises are intended to be good but never follow through. Gotta say tho that hoist was slick... wouldn't turn on the back like those swivel wheels but a bigger tire is so easy to move... best part was the weight it added helped to not make the back of my hoist come off of the ground when lifting heavy stuff. Just having rubber over steel is nice.
threading that bolt for the center spring perch darn, has to be like threading a tiny fish hook
Like its meant to be Bob!
Looking good. I think most 30’s ford have the same 112 wheel base, except the trucks I believe are 112.5. From 34 up to 41. Frames are all the same
I admire you for putting up with the neighbor. Love your channel. You do fantastic work
The neighbor wasn't out in public and he's been working on vehicles since he was 12. Those that can, do. Those that can't, criticize. Ps. Those aren't his pajamas, they are lounge pants.
@@jennasuesimmons6072 being good with cars doesn’t make you less annoying and also I watch Bob because I like and appreciate his ability and personality and I am totally unconcerned with your opinion
You could get a radiator that is thicker to help with cooling the engine GreaT looking rod
Yes most definatly need to move the Hairpins up into the frame because it lookd funny like that mounted down so far at a angle I think you want them level after you get the leafs back in it. Motor looks tilted. I guess you can see that? make sure you make the radiator outlets in the right spot this time.
spirit cars may have the doors you need.
Hi Bob, I learned something about the 33 34 that I wasn't clear on. The whoopti do on the front of the hood was 33 and 34 stock issue. The smooth hoods are hot rod hoods. On fiberglass hoods the pieces tend to warp up or down. While you are fixing the crack down the center of the hood I would fiber glass a couple pieces of 1/2 square tubing going out to the tip of each whoopi doo. I think it would keep the hood looking nice for a long time. Just a thought
I'm thinking of a metal frame one piece flip front ... what ya think?
@@RatRodBobBuilds Hi bob, I think that would be cool with some gas struts.
Hi Bob, I just saw this hood latch system on a 1930 pickup. It is simple and unique. I thought you might like it. czcams.com/video/Ijr-Ps1_ENI/video.html
Hi Bob, Econoline vans had 90 degree oil filter adapters which should screw onto your engine.
I don't know about you Bob, but I am getting excited. I just love it when a plan comes together.
When people show up In there pajamas they are ready for real work.
Looking good Bob !! What's Red think about it ? Day off with pay !!
Going to be a lot of speed and torque for that light weight car. That's a fun problem.
I'm digging it. I am curious about which side of the doors are going to be hinged? Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
The oil filter location on Ford engines is why alot of builders use Chevy engines.
Thinking a remote filter adapter would be a great option for this.
Itxwas actually the oil pan Ford has a front sump. Chevy has a rear sump. The front sump pan cleared the crossmember better.
hope this helps
1 fiberglass will not stick to: glass, plastic, formica,METAL,shipping tape
2 it will not make a right angle soften any edge by sanding or using some cabosil
3cabosil is a form of pwdered fiberglass used in construction and back filling you can mixs thick or thin think of it like flour get abag
3you can use bondo set to cure real quick to hgold things in place...you can add bits of a paintstick with bondo put on abit let cure while you hold in desired location then glass and mat right over it think of it as a tack weld fill gap with thick cabosil
4make floor and inner structure of waterproof wood then fiberglass weave right over incredibly strong and insulates..use tiger hair to hold wood arouind doors rear window etc.scuff body in areas first
will need a sledge hammer to remove (better than steel) make a metal floor pan on top of frame drop finished body wth matted wood floor on top of it I did one with alouvered floor pan looked bitchin
5 donot bury mat in resin the mat will wick the resin mop up puddles with ascrap of mat
resin by itself will have no strength
6 trim your almost cured fiberglass edges while GREEN with a sharp razor blade knife avoid grinding
7fiberglass dust is explosive
8 you can make thin sheets of fiberglass to make panels(firewall) using a pane of glass make cardboard template of shape you need trace with marker to glass lay out mat and resin cut to rmplate shape while soft(almost cured) green cutting let cure hold sheets i n place using step 3
9 if you must use metal only certain resins will permantly stick to it (EPOXY $$$$)
