    Great job! Most hollow cake tutorials are cake dummies.. I was looking for an ACTUAL cake cutout, thanks!!

    Hi could this be done to create a heart in the centre, and if it was middle of 3 tier could it support cake on top please.

      Hi there Veronica, yes you may create any similar design, here is a link for the heart cut out design I did czcams.com/users/shortsUBe5JWhQ87A?feature=share
      I would suggest making this design as the top tier. Or you could fully ganache the cut out tier, add many supports, including cake boards on top and bottom of the tier, then try using it as a middle tier.
      Hope this helps. All the best my friend.

    Can I use whipped cream through out the cake?...will it give the necessary support?
    Pls guide

    • @sugarpotdelights6596
      @sugarpotdelights6596  Před 2 lety

      Hello there Prabha, ganache is necessary to use throughout for the best support, structure and for transportation of the cake. Try using whipped cream as your final outer coat, if you like.

    What did you used for icing? Buttercream or whip cream?

      Hello there, I used buttercream to layer and ice the cake, for inside the cut out I used ganache. Hope you will give it a try 🙂

    Ganache should've been smoothed out. Looks sloppy within center circle.
