When someone is excited to be a parent it gives me second-hand excitement. I like to hear those cute little details that most people don't mention about having kids. I'm glad you're not nervous, but when you hold your baby you will probably feel this very strong feeling, nervous is the wrong word but very strong devotion like holy shit this is a HUMAN LIFE AND IT RELIES ON US FOR ITS EVERY NEED!!! I can imagine it will be amazing but I don't know. I'll hopefully be a mom within the next 10 years On an unrelated note, I remember when I first got into this channel the community had a somewhat snobby attitude because the mainly accepted type of humor here was more cynical. Now overall, especially in the last 2 years, the slight changes in your outlook and your commentary has made the community into a more kind and positive bunch. But you still retain the same sass and satire appeal

Omg noooooooo) And it's so true that time just flies by, and it's the most amazing and gut-wrentching thing to see them grow up. That is what scares me the most. I hope NL takes it all in and enjoys every single cry during the night, and every chance to hold his girl, and every gross poopy butt he needs to spray in the tub.
Shouldn't you get them during the day? I mean he's like 9 or 8 hours behind us so when his Isaac goes up it's 3PM in Europe...I mean I'm Europian so I would kinda know XD
I love how gracefully NL handled the news of his child. It was so perfect. edit: and btw, if you actually get excited about the cats like that, what your child does will be so amazing you can't even comprehend it. Enjoy every second of it. Every time they want you to tie their shoes do it and enjoy it. When they get super heavy in your arms holding them, enjoy it. Remember, there will be a last time you will tie their shoes, and a last time you will ever hold them. Enjoy the time before that to the fullest.

I had not heard Kate was pregnant. Ever since my kid was born, I've been wondering how you're going to manage to produce content when that kid arrives. It is insanely time-consuming taking care of a baby.
This guy is investing in turnips while I invested in tarantulas and am laying in my king size bed in my two story mansion with a basement. Now that my house loan is paid I'll invest my first million in the stalk market tomorrow.
Tenants have "rights" out the a** and cannot be evicted for non-payment, especially during a crises. Read the Rental Tenancy Act. Even renters who have had an eviction upheld by the BC Supreme court cannot be legally evicted by force, even by law enforcement.
Depending on where you live, the eviction process can take months. If you don't properly document it, you could have to start all over from the beginning. These landlords are probably just sending letters to document that they communicated to the tenant that they expect to receive rent as normal so that the tenant can't argue in court that they were under the impression that no rent was going to be due. That being said, I would never send a letter like to my tenants in a situation like this. In my opinion, it's a much better solution to state that if they can't pay the rent they should reach out to the landlord to discuss a payment plan. Landlords provide the good/service of a home and accomodations such as laundry and utilities. If the landlord continues to provide these services, the tenant shouldn't just expect that they should be allowed to receive the services for free because of a potentially bad work situation. The landlord will likely still need to pay their mortgage, utilities, property taxes, fire insurance, property management fees, etc. and they will still need to replace or fix things that break. Being a landlord is pretty similar to owning a small business. You can't cut off all of their revenue and expect them to provide the same services.

If you have a landlord that does no form of labour except allow a tenant to live on their property there is no value of society being created there. At least that's what I got from NL speaking on the topic. He has previously stated his distaste for markets based on speculation and living in Vancouver one can see how fked up the housing market is there and in a lot of metropolitan areas today.
