- In this video, I go over some horn honking etiquette. Some people use their car horn too much, and others use it too little. There are very few drivers who use their horn effectively, and use it for the right reasons. With these simple honking rules, you can become a better driver, and know how to use your car horn effectively.

They need to put a 2 second allowance on horns to keep people off of them to be honest. People honk at motorcyclists just to annoy them. They hurt their ears with it, then want to get mad when they get mad and do something to them about it. They say we have self control issues. Why don't you try and have someone following you and honking at you at every-single-stoplight? Your ears start ringing and they hurt. Ever think about that?
Long honk for me is 10 seconds
The car manufacturers should no longer include a horn. It is of no value. The horn is only used by narcissistic drivers who use the horn to vent their impatience or anger. There is no reason to honk at anyone. If anyone honked at me I would stop my car, get out and punch out their window.

Some idiots were walking across the street on a green light as my car was approaching them one time so I had to honk at them then they "woke up" & ran across the street. These ppl just don‘t care for everybody‘s safety.
