I’m calling it here, when infested liches arrive, hema will be one of the weapons chosen for a variant and many people will be mad about it.
oh 100%, though i would love an upgraded variant cause im in a solo clan and been farming this danm thing for 5 years on and off.
Did they confirm we’re getting infested liches at some point?

I remember almost tearing my hair out when I was helping my clan try to farm the resources needed to research this gun. Such. A. Effing. DRAG!!!
It has "slightly" gotten better with Deimos bringing the missions into non-key access
i've been playing for just over a month, and early on I joined a random clan and grabbed the research because it looked cool before I went to go make my own. It's one of my main weapons now on both Garuda and Citrine lol (healing for Garuda, Citrine constantly heals herself)
it's so nice on Gaurda, I can bloodlet all the way down to like 3hp and then just a single burst on an enemies head will heal like half of my healthbar (not that good though when compared to molt reconstruct to be honest)
I think I remember taking a long break after helping with the research. After seeing the costs we almost cried hahahaha. I was deputy on my clan because most of us were either deployed, going to be deployed or returning from deployment at the time so from like 90ish members we only had 10 or so actively scrambling for resources. My wrists hurt just thinking about it.
Oh, Hema is one of the special guns where gunCO stacks multiplicatively, so having serration actually makes sense. I think taking out V.Armaments would be fine.
The primary arcane is giving the damage bonus that Serration would provide, in this case. Serration just reduces the need for ramp-up.
Though, I'm personally quite tempted to use Deadhead, since I prefer how long it lasts and the gun incentivizes headshots anyway
GunCO is usually multiplicative when gun shoots projectiles like the boltor and the arca plasmor
@@mekanikosebeing a projectile doesn’t guarantee it , boltor is additive with it , and not every plasmor projectile is multi , lex Incarnon is infact additive but most of them are multi
@@RossKyle95 not guaranteed but general rule of thumb, hitscan its additive, projectile its multiplicitive and if aoe (explosions) does nothing there are of course exceptions
@@mekanikose I wouldn’t even say general rule of thumb either it’s a kinda hit and a miss even some aoe can technically be buffed by it - see Torid grenades / muralist cernos etc etc , it’s consistently inconsistent as always with DE hahah
Alternative setup for people who want more CC/healing. Run primary deadhead and instead of heat, run cold with shivering contagion. Cold will make it easier to land headshots which thanks to dead head will hit much harder and will also spread procs to enemies around you.
Plus rifles get a primed cold damage mod so a lot more upfront damage atleast.
I farmed the Hema research solo, and I still have my potatoless Hema as a trophy. Same with my potatoless Sibear.
Maybe I should give the tumor gun another chance

I love Hema because it means C*m in Greek. It is just a cool gun that happens to unloads your dna in bursts killing your enemies.
i love this gun , and one thing i did which sounded dumb at the time was galvanized crosshairs paired with hunter munitions. you would think getting around 50% CC is not ideal for a hunter build , but infinite ammo and high fire rate kinda takes away that issue.

I went back to craft Nidus just to use Hema again. Feels gud & I miss using Nidus after I subsumed him ^^
This makes me so glad I farmed for Nidus Prime before subsuming my normal Nidus.
I love how you like weapons based on their feel, not DPS or KPM or whatever. If you could design a weapon that feels best for you, what would it be like?

Hey MC, since you're so far off meta and loving it _(and I'm enjoying the variety of weapons too)_ you should check out the viper and grakata but with the mods that make you have ammo efficiency on headshots, they're epic fun. (I did make a video of my own on them).
The one thing I wish Hema had was Bounce (like the mod for the tetra). Can’t help but think that fat-projectile weapons should have some of that.
You can even run crit chance and hunter munitions. It won't be as reliable but it can do pretty well with it regardless
I just got a very good riven for this weapon so thanks for showing it off again. (204% damage, 102% multishot, 169% crit chance, which raises it to 32% and a 0.54X damage to infested (not a bad negative stat imo)
The hema is just so much fun, plus the life leech on headshots is nice, I'd love a new version of it someday, be it incarnon or lich flavored to spruce it up a bit, but man its just fun, and I think that is what makes it good
I have never made the correlation of hornet gun and hema but damn dude you opened my eyes lmao

Really looking forward to the auto-fire update for it, as well as hoping they do a lich variant of it eventually.

I'm wondering about swapping the Heat for Cold and using Primary Frostbite instead of Merciless? Might help to ramp up damage in order to get those kills for Galvanized Aptitude? I don't have much in the way of Frostbite yet, so I'm not really able to test it myself.
One of my favorite weapons was always the euphona prime and now it seems to be outclassed by the laetum and I kinda miss my euphona.
I've farmed the resources for this weapon twice: one for the clan I used to be in and then for my solo clan.

Still in the process of getting this. I feel like it'll do great on a full heat build with its innate viral. Though likely just way inferior to phage but maybe it'll feel better to use compared to phage's weird mechanic.
If you're looking for more fun off-beat weapons to do for this series, a lot of the Syndicate variant melees and guns have weird potential. I've been doing a lot of silly things with Rakta Dark Dagger lately!

also: could you see if synoid simulor bubles interact with elemental sandstorm? like dragging mobs into the bubbles or something? it sounds promissing but dont have the rizz to test them meself. Xp
I feel like gauss would go well with this, because he can boost his firerate pretty high and freeze enemies in place for headshots.

aptitude only applies up to 3 status effects, harold is simply just making them weaker so you get more going on at once.
No it does not. It applies up to 16 status effects (max at the moment)

@@SleeperStm the 2x means you need to get 2 kills to get the full effect. Not the amount of status it works with. The wording is really bad
