Trimming Rare Draft Breed : Suffolk Punch

This video shows a trim on a very rare breed draft horse. She is a Suffolk Punch. For a draft horse she has very nice healthy hooves. It is possible for draft breeds to have strong well connected hooves. They don't have to be flat dished and flared. When the horse has the opportunity to move, consume good nutrition, and a consistent trim schedule they can have hooves that are just as healthy and strong as a standard size horse.
