Depends on where in Erie you see what he's forgetting to tell you guys is that eerie is more than just the city there's Erie county which has like five or six small towns on the outskirts of Erie between 10 to 30 min away for example I live in a small town called Northeast the furthest point Northeast you can go in Erie county before he gets to New York and crime here not bad very little at least violent crime East Erie now you're looking at probably one of more dangerous areas depending on where an Easter Erie roads and everything like that there was a point where Erie was like the murder capital of Pennsylvania and it wasn't that long ago but things are getting better some would say someone say it's getting worse others would say that nothing's changed I mean keep your head on a swivel if you move here if you're going to have a family here and everything like that just do your research before and we may have a 20% less housing cost and mortgage cost but our minimum wage is also $7.25 an hour and it's still very difficult to survive in this place

Hey Joe! Like the channel, I’m from Erie, (Girard actually) anyhow, Living out here in Fort Collins, Colorado (a dream, I moved here alone and it’s so damn expensive, $2300.00 plus utilities, $500.00 a month in water bills, electric, Gas about the same, &100-$200 then “Good Ole Corporate Comcast,” out of Philippines/Philadelphia 🤣😂😅… $200.00 a month, have to stay got into debt over COVID19, And now am looking to move back home, Is there anywhere, or anyone, that you could steer me in the right direction for a potential rent to own? I have Great references, George Properties is one, and many more, please let me know, I could use a solid contact with a contract… Blessings

Hi Jamison. It is amazing how affordable Erie is. I think most people do not appreciate Erie until they move away. I had the same experience. Right now I am not aware of any rent to own property. I would advise you to stay away from that scenario. If you are serious about moving back to Erie, I would recommend finding an apartment first to make the initial transition.
