  • As an avid outdoors person, I wanted boots that would be comfortable, waterproof and tough for multiple environments and seasons.
    Enter the Timberland’s GREENSTRIDE™ ORIGINALS ULTRA WATERPROOF BOOTS that caught my attention
    What makes the Greenstride different from Timberlands most popular products is the fact that it has:
    • TimberDry A waterproof membrane made with at least 50% recycled plastic
    • ReBOTL™ an innovative method of recycling discarded plastic bottles by transforming them into RPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) yarns
    More details inside the review!

    These Timbs are the most comfortable, best looking boots I have ever worn. I have the light tan, two pairs and the green and black, as I use them more as a fashion than hiking. The waterproof function is amazing, when you slide you feet into this boot, it feels like your foot is getting a nice warm hug! Great job Timberland, every where I go people comment and ask about my Timbs!

I was about to leave a comment saying that i'm definitely coming back here for all future shoe reviews as I figured your channel had to be a specialist show channel. but when I checked it was your only one haha. Because i have 7 styles of Timbs except this one here on this review i would start HIGHLY recommending the "Timberland Anti Fatigue Insoles", they are expensive but i dont like ANY other insoles, they are life changing. I wasn't convinced about these style and now i want them! Im not gonna go for a walk in the woods with them (i have the steel toe Generation T PRO for that) but definitely are worth it (i dont think they are made for climbing or as work boots, more like casual if you like hard strides like i do)! Great video and Review. New SUB! (I think people sometimes abuse these boots too much and expect to last whatever and think they are amazingly well built and with extreme quality but obviously there are some cares you need to take)!

    • @dvampofo
      @dvampofo  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks for watching Taylor. You'd be a size 11 (US). The half inch will give you extra space if you want to wear thick socks and avoid having sore toes from hitting the front of the boot.

  • @RomainSandt
    @RomainSandt Před rokem

    I currently have them... In 43.5 and 44. Don't know wich one to send back. That'd be 9.5W us or UK 9 and and 10W/L or UK 9.5. my "real" size is 43 (you know, real leather shoes) but with sneakers it's usually 44. My other Timberland are 44 (10). But these boots are very strange, my feet clearly fit better on the inside sole. Sits on it perfectly with the 43.5 (9.5L). But the boot is a bit tight even if it gets better after some time. With the 44 (10 L/W as it says on the box) it's like my foot arch isn't placed in the right place for these boots. They seem a bit too long for me. Yet for the rest, I'm more comfortable in them, easier to put on. Now to make it trickier... Compared the inside soles to my othe Timberland and sneakers and trekking boots... Clearly the 44 seems the same size as my other 44. Yet when in the boots... My toes are way further from the tips, they have way more space than in my other shoes. These boots are confusing 🤗. If people here have experience with them. I'd be curious to know what size they took compared to what they usually wear. Ordered two pairs on sale... Thinking I'd know after a single try wich to send back... Now I know less then before 😂

    I am weirdly a 10 or 10.5 on the field trekker low, but 8.5 on the chukka and 8 on slipons. How do these fit? I have 26.5cm feet.

    • @dvampofo
      @dvampofo  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi MotorJack. I'd recommend that you go have a size up so you have max comfort.
      I say this because if you wear thin crew socks or thick wool socks, your feet will have the necessary space in the toe/front of the boot so your feet wont experience tightness (could be a different story if you have wide _and_ long feet).
      Hope this helps.

    • @dvampofo
      @dvampofo  Před 8 měsíci

      I've checked both and to be honest, it comes down to your budget and what you find aesthetically pleasing.
      The Heritage has the rubber component and PrimaLoft insulation, so it looks solid for very wet climates. How it'll hold up for winter? I dont know.
      The Originals are still still going strong, but the pull-on strap on the back has ripped from the boot, but my feet are still warm in them from the snow and cold (as stated in the review, Im wearing warm wool socks)

      You can buy the standard leather boot cleaning kit. That'll preserve the leather and keep them looking young. Also, use shoe trees so they keep their shape.

      I think there may be a wide option. Otherwise, these narrow size may be uncomfortable for long periods of time.
