I have no idea about rc but I would guess that the volvo is controlled via proper joystick which gives way more headroom in terms of precision, and the other one with a "normal" remote?
I noticed the same thing. Like watching a real machine operate.

There are a few, but none as diverse as the Germans. PNWSTE is in Washington State, & has our own outdoors RC playground. There are a few exhibitions in Indiana, & Pennsylvania areas as well
