Sorry I’m so late but I’m going to a kx100 now
Question, I know a lot of people usually start riding and racing pretty young, I’m 12 and would love to start but have never rode one, do you think it’s still a good time to start riding?
Of course, just start in maybe one of the air cooled 4 strokes to get used to it before you get a race bike
Go 4 stroke, 2 strokes are zippy, I still have my first 125 4 stroke and I have outgrown it power wise and hight wise, 2 strokes have a lot of kick

Super exited for that. The ttr sucks now 😂 fun and great beginner bike but it doesn’t last my needs lol
@@seanecus33 how tall are you? looking to get a dirt bike or pit bike but struggling to know what power bike to get
@@spaghetti1563 almost 5’3. The ttr 125 is good for people in the 4’11-5’3 range. The kx 100 is a powerful bike so definitely don’t start there. But good for the 5’0-5’5 ish range. If just starting out maybe get a pit bike like a 110. Whether that’s a crf, klx, ttr, whatever. Or if you are looking for something that isn’t a pitter, get a 125 4 stroke.. like the klx, ttr etc. As I said I’m 14 and now on the kx 100 and it fits me really well. But don’t start with a powerful 2 stroke race bike. They need lots of work and experience to ride.
I’m a 14 yr old and I’m 5’3 I ride a husqvarna 85 race bike on trails and it’s not ideal but he main thing is definitely gas capacity it is my first fast dirt bike before it I had a Honda 80 4 stroke trail bike and it did not do well anywhere other than the woods and even before that I had one of the Honda 50’s you mentioned and I still love that bike because I have a tiny track I built for it that the other bikes don’t really fit

I was thinking it would have been a good idea to give some height information. Kids can vary massively in height at the same age. My daughter is 10 yrs old and 1m40 but some of her friends are 1m55. I'm looking to get her a KTM65 based on her height, weight (30kg) and inside leg measurement. The 65's seat height seems to fit but some of her friends would probably need the 85SW.
