    My advice to those who wants to start their art business is that, sometimes we're being swallowed by our fear- fear that we can't, fear that we might fail. And on those times, think about yourself, think about how much you wanted it. And on that moment that you had your courage to begin, never stop. And if fear, anxiety, and frustration comes to your way again, validate it, take a rest and begin again. You can! 💚💚💚 Keep going;

      @@TheArtofMar we all needed rest ma'am 🥰 and validating our feelings and emotions is the best way to lessen our pagod. Resting doesn't mean giving up. It's just giving us some time to not just regain our strength but to gain more strength to get back on our track and continue. Feeling that we're not enough in the eyes of others or our works doesn't look good enough to the eyes of others, it's normal and it's okay. Just process your feelings, rest if you must and keep going. Stop when someone told you to. And that someone is you. No one else.
      Thank you for inspiring us starters 🥰🥰🥰 God is blessing you 💚💚💚

    I have a five year full time job and at the same time a side hustle which is my little art shop. I love anything about art, so last 2020 I started doing digital illustrations and make money out of it. And recently, I’ve decided to finally leave my job and pursue what I really love to do. My advice to all artist out there, It’s okay to go out of your comfort zone and explore a little bit more. At first you’ll be scared but if you really love what you’re doing, you’ll just shine in your own way. You just have to believe in yourself, always. ☼♡

    My advice to who wants to choose their art as a career love what u do! Make sure u make it in a perfect and superior quality to customers those who purchase.
    A customer who loves your product's quality will definetely give u more orders.
    And make sure u love what u are doing,
    Don't take it just a proffesion and do it make sure u love❤️ the profession what you do.....
    I have even started my own Scrunchie business, i love what i do❤️........
    I really enjoy making them.
    Making scrunchies give me happpiness😁 .

    Don't be afraid of the person's who speaks wrongly about your proffesion.
    Patience is the 🗝️ to success.
    Be very patient.
    Don't worry about no order's.
    Be very patient.
    Don't run behind money, money will automatically comes if ur products are in a good quality.
    Don't invest more on lots of tools when you're starting to learn something.

    The advice I can give aspiring artists and wanna-be shop owners is to PRACTICE (and keep practicing), RESEARCH (know your product well), and PERSEVERE (don't give up!). This is my second attempt to put up a printing business and the first time I tried I made a lot of mistakes which made me quit. Now, I'm trying again, armed with what I know from my first attempt and more knowledge gleaned from the internet through CZcams and very generous vloggers like Art of Mar and SirTon Prints who take the time to make these wonderful videos that inspire and instruct. Kudos to you! :)

    • @TheArtofMar
      @TheArtofMar  Před 2 lety +1

      Ah practice!! And continuing to have consistent practice! This is so true. Also love how you included researching and learning from past experiences and from other people. That's also what we do most of the time, just keep observing and learning from others and also try to incorporate whatever will work for us. PS we also love Sirton prints omg!!

    My practical advice is to start small and start with what you have, be resourceful, set a goal and reverse engineer that goal so that you won't be overwhelmed, celebrate the small wins, take the time to learn something new everyday, rest when you need to, do not exhaust yourself, and lastly but most importantly be CONSISTEN.
    I have had many failed businesses I take that as cost of education, because the things I have learned from those businesses are priceless.
    I am starting a sticker shop soon, I just purchased a silhouette portrait and I have Kraft stickers and I-tech matte stickers left over from when I was making labels and stickers for my failed biz haha.
    I said start small and start with what you have because often times, the things that hinder us from diving into the business pool is we think we need all those expensive stuff/tech to start. But we really don't. If you love drawing and art, you probably already have some materials on hand, use that, offer commissioned artworks, be resourceful, and save the money you earn to invest in your business.upgrade little by little.
    Setting big goals and not reverse engineering them can be so overwhelming as well and we end up getting frustrated and anxious. celebrating small wins will motivate us and keep us going.
    invest time to learn and improve but make sure you have enough rest.
    and lastly, most businesses generate waste, the more sales we have the more trash we produce, although we cannot avoid using those materials we can always find a way to be more environmentally friendly. for example,to make art more sustainable, always save your scrap, if u have a printing business and you use laminate on your stickers use the laminate backing sheets.
    CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.

    My practical advice is be resourceful. Actually you can execute your plan with no big capital money (based on my experiences). Pre-selling is a must, why wait saving funds to start your plans if you have a customer who trust you and willing to pay you in advance?? And then from pre-selling you must save funds to invest in machinery and so on. For me, CASH FLOW is the real key to have a sustainable business. So prepare yourself from the obstacles of reality and just back everytime you feel loosing hope in your "WHYs" to bring yourself back in the track and keep grinding hard 'til you achieve your biggest dreams. The moment you start it, the easier it gets.
    ✨BE COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE✨

    My advice:
    To those artists that want to achieve their goals, just believe on your self, magpatuloy/keep going, and trust the process. I was also an artist and I make arts that I sell but only few people buy, It's so hard to reach when you feel like no one likes what you do or what you sell. But we know that not all things that we expect will come true, that's why dont give up on what you've started, don't loose hope if you think your work was nothing to them, do not give up on your dreams no matter what happen, and show to them your creativity because someday you will be a successful!❤✨ Spread the love guys, remember that your not alone.✨🦋😘 12:52

    My practical advice would be, believe in yourself and in your art. If you are truly ready to face the ups and downs in the art community then go for it! But... Make sure you know how to manage your numbers and time management is a must! Multi-tasking isn't easy at all and also make sure you're mentally ready. I myself is a small business owner who started my art career last year, starting is very difficult at first but never loose hope! You'll find the right people for your art✨

    Give up on the “not enough” mind frame, successful artists don’t frame things around “not enough.” There is never enough time, not enough money, not enough confidence, not enough of whatever it is at that moment to make or do what you need to do to be a successful artist.
