- Last short demo of FONV dialogue before I disappear for a while to look at some terrain textures and then back to Oblivion.
It looks like FONV "hides" some dialogue topics under "choices". To do this properly we'll need a new UI.
I would like to thank all the subscribers and especially those who leave comments - I don't always reply but I do read all your comments I appreciate them very much! Even the occasional critical ones. Y'all are the motivation for me to keep going. - Hry
Huge props. Keep it up
There are about 10 channels on youtube that i genuinely get excited for and this is one of them.
If leaving a comment is all we need to do to support you, then it's the least we can do. Keep up the good work; we'll be here for you!
For 5 years now cc9cii you have impressed me with every one of your uploads, been really glad to see a lot of your posts lately. We can't thank you enough for your contributions to this project that will one day be the ultimate way for new and old Bethesda fans to experience these gems we call Fallout and Elder Scrolls.
This has got to be one of the most random things I've ever had in my recommended
Its crazy your progress on dialog these past months
Looks much more playable now)
holy shit. first time seeing your work. amazing!
As I have said before I would love to just mess around with your version. No actual reason, just love to see the progress firsthand. Either way good job.
Well over the next few months I'm going to get my fork a little more "user friendly" so that others can try out. Let's see if that can happen. It may not be possible to make it "turn key" easy because of many dependency libraries some of which are very old. Also the codebase needs to be at least somewhat legible - otherwise I'll be creating more problems as support requests start rolling in...
@@cc9cii Even if it doesn't work well. It is just random exploration, I do that with base OpenMW, set speed and acro to something like 150 and just jump around other games.
I feel like this is what dialogue in fallout 3/NV might have looked like if bethesda had never existed. Maybe a portrait to go along the side, too.
I'm excited to see the terrain updates next. I know how hard it can be to stay focused on such a large project, so im glad our comments give you motivation. Good luck
I appreciate people like you doing things like this. The work already done is pregnant with potential.
what an odd way of phrasing that
We will all wait patiently for your next video. You are doing great work, and we all appreciate it very much.
Oh wow, this is amazing.
Beautiful. Your work is revolutionary.
This is honestly incredible.
a mmmmmaaaaa zzzzzing!
will it be merge to openmw or is this something entirely else ?
I guess you're referring to terrain textures? I don't know if it will be merged but someone asked me to have a look so I will. However, due to my lack of knowledge in OSG I may not get very far.
This is pretty impressive!
I guess with this new UI restructuring it would be a good time to properly fork it off into OpenNV (or maybe "OpenFNV")?
Not yet. I'd like to get Oblivion to a playable state first - mainly because TES4 wiki has a lot more info which I can use. FONV will require a *lot* of research and trial-and-error experiments (e.g. save file format is basically unknown other than few minor bits)
Can you put some Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel in my Morrowind?
Epic

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
