Quantum Communications in Space

This video gives a glimpse of how quantum communications will be integrated into space technology. Using Quantum Key Distribution technology on low earth orbit satellites, telecommunication operators and companies will be able to secure the communications that occur in free space.
Several European projects as QUDICE and QUANGO are carrying out research and development in this field, aiming to integrate quantum technologies in the space arena.
