- I thought Jason would end up being a very solid character in Multiversus. That is, until I found out about one single perk. This one perk destroys Jason's entire gameplan and leaves him to be a slow husk of a character. May God have Mercy on Jason Mains.

thx, i was wondering why jason's "grey health that prevents knockback" was doing nothing,
its not right when just selecting a buff completely counters another hero
tysm for making this bro. i love playing jason but it's genuinely unbearable when people can js hit you with neutral and up attacks over and over, literally nothing you can do except wait for a good dodge which is impossible against someone like shaggy.

And I was here wondering why some attacks without the purple effect broke my "armor".
Maybe that's just another bug entirely, this character is miserable at times
I hope they allow it to see hit boxes in training mode.
I played Jason against a shaggy for a few while learning him and slowly found out the game plan behind him is to just grey health and walk at snail speeds hoping my enemy fucks up and hits me with a move that doesn’t break my grey health just so I can get one small empowered attack.
But what actually happens is my enemy chips away at my grey health forcing me to try using it or just starts spamming dodge while I walk at them making the matchup feel like a joke.
If the ability is Jason’s only armor and he’s a tank the cd shouldn’t be so long and punishing to use. Jason also shouldn’t lose his grey health once he wiffs the attack because at that point he’s just damaging himself to get a single empowered attack that most likely won’t even connect.
This is me talking about 1v1s though.
If you ever play 2s with a friend get them to play lebron with the pass perk and Jason can cook
I agree Jason needs some help but i also realized that the rage boost honestly is not to give you armor. You should use it simply for the DMG and knock back boost and play as if you dont have armor. Dont use slow charging moves use his really good aerials to land a strong hit. The grey health is just to help it land.
Idk a few times I use it to tank hits and land a charged axe or bed
@@BleedingFazos you can still do that but at high level you probably won't land those without a good hard read. Try to bait a dodge and use your fair or dair more with it for faster better punish.

Lebron has a similar range problem primarily in his off ball stance where his hands will go through them without hittting them and he desperately needs those moves to connect because he sucks off ball but then you have a character like Harley who has massive hit boxes I love playing Jason because he is fun in 2s especially with a lebron with the gray health perk

Im surprised, pretty sure the perk should only apply to armour, itll prolly be xhanged, or the description will be changed, because armour and grey health are different

You’re reaching he’s not bad, very strong but that’s it, just strong, you’re combo food but you kill at 60, he has pretty good combos and tech you need to play the game

He hit like a truck but is slow and miss a lot. A good player can dance around Jason player.
I hate his teleports because keep teleporting me at the edge of the platform.
