is it just me, or was it the camera angles, or the focus, but that crowd seemed dead to me.
great remix of a stone cold classic as played by a dj god and what, we get a few half hearted woos belatedly, a load of hangers-on crowding the dj booth, lost in their own conversations, then all the phones come out for 'the drop'. the king deserves better.
maybe i'm just getting old and it's been this way for decades or something...
I def know what you are saying.. i remember in the mid 90's when I guest djed a stack of times at the old church of techno in Nyc on 6th ave.. 😉😉.. people used to really go crazy, lots of heavy dancing/grinding, circle battling, on top of cages, couches, the voguers doing their thing on the side struting with their fans and pumps in their hands, it was def a scene that gave you butterflies... So I def know what you mean.. from your mouth to gods ears my friend. 😎😎

I've seen him DJ three times at festivals bitd, and by seen, I mean sweatily danced to, not stood there like a lemon! I was just a kid for the first wave of rave (though was lapping up what i could get hold of at home), but come the superclub era in the mid to late 90s I was hitting my prime and entering into my hardcore party years. Happy days. Feels like more than one lifetime ago now though...👴
