You can see a lot of racial profiling in this game. Telling them to go back to their country, thinking that the boys were stealing, saying they werent from america, calling them fugitives, talking about the wall. This is a really interesting game..

I feel like the Life is Strange series focuses on the main problems in life like bullying and teen suicide (in the first game) and racism in this one. It kinda makes you think, 'man, life really is strange.'

I hate how the cop shot the dad ... apparently, it was racist bc he immediately pulled the gun at the kids and the father. Hated that scene sm man. Dad didn't deserve to die
It's not racist it's just bad writting. It would have been racist if the cop was calm. But he is panicked and yet his first reflex is to menace two kids asking for help, take the pulse of a guy you can HEAR have difficulties to breath and shot the only adult that has nothing to do with what scared him. At this point it's not even incompetence. I bet it went this way :
" - Hey guys ! So why are the two kids on the run ?
-Because they killed a cop.
-Why did they kill him ?
-Well since they're the good guys it have to be an accident, so he shot their father and it triggered the powers.
-How did it happen ?
-The kids fighted with a bully and really hurt him. A cop was doing a patrol came but believed the two kids killed the bully and he panicked. He ends up shooting the father when he tried to intervene.

He wasn't racist, he just panicked. He literally saw a kid gasping for air covered in blood and two other kids covered in blood as well. The cop also seemed new because of the way he reacted to the situation.
