I saw that military train leave Tacoma Washington it was going to Fort Bliss Texas.

Love the military train. The equipment was from 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team 1st Cavalry Division @ Fort Hood, TX returning to base from NTC Rotation 22-06 @ Fort Irwin, CA.

The engineers don't wave from the trains anymore, not like they did back in 1954.
Sometimes you get a friendly conductor or engineer, but not all the time. It's nice when they at least blow their horn when you wave at them.
Sometimes I get a tear in my eye when I hear an old train in the night
